Any good ratings is family owners. As the previous recent 2011 review says. The pizza is burned. I had to get my money back. I had them even remake before having to get my money back. They tried making excuses on the 2nd pizza that its the brick oven. Nobody likes eating a pizza where there's black on the bottom.

HORRIBLE!!. I had seen this restaurant a few times and was excited that they delivered. I decided to give them a try on Saturday night. I called and Lauren answered the phone. I was put on hold and a few minutes later someone picked up the line and then hung up on me. I called again and Lauren apologized and then took my order. I decided to go with one of the specialties which was the bruschetta pizza. I ordered a greek salad and a cannoli. I was told it would be about an hour. I was very pleased the delivery only took 45 minutes.

Heres the bad part: The pizza was awful! There was so many tomatoes loaded on that it completely soaked through the crust and the box. The raw garlic and onions on it was so overwhelming that I had to quickly remove it from my house and on picking up the box, the pizza fell through the bottom and all over the carpet. After cleaning up the huge tomato-y mess the best I could, I decided to try the salad - brown, wilted iceburg lettuce - yuck!

Basically - I paid close to $50 dollars for 1 piece of pizza, an old salad and a huge expensive mess on my carpet.

Terrible Customer Service. My wife had been raving about this place for a week or two, so we decided to get a pizza, salad and cannoli delivered...it was about 8pm this past Saturday night. They said it would be about 45 minutes to an hour and I agreed...that was fine, I was in no rush. My kids happened to call shortly after that--apparently that was the 15 minute window during which they tried to reach me, because they couldn't find the place (which is not hard to find). When I called wondering where my order was at 9:30 they said "We've been waiting for you to call, what do you want us to do with this, we've already charged your card." They said if I drove to pick it up, they'd comp the exact same order next time and they'd make me a new pizza ready by the time we got there. I drove down, not entirely happy, but not unhappy, I was still hungry for this pizza my wife had been raving about. I walked in and they told me they were closed, I said I just called and they said, "Oh, it's you." They were generally rude about the whole thing, I signed the receipt and it occurred to me that even though I drove down there I was still getting charged the delivery fee. No matter, I asked nicely, "Do I get some kind of voucher for the comp?" At that point an older man said, "Yeah, I'll give you 10% off your next order." That is not what they agreed to on the phone if I saved them the trouble of re-delivering the food they already charged on my card by driving there. I didn't even bother leaving my name to ge the "10%", they don't have to worry about me ever ordering there again. They were all incredibly rude and I left immediately. The pizza was alright and if they had kept their word, I'd probably have given them a second shot. The best pizza in the world can't make up for the way I was treated.

La Famiglia--the best family Italian Restraunt outside of NYC. We adore La Famiglia!!! Every time we go there, it is just like walking into Little Italy in NYC. The food is exceptional. We have not found anything better in Arizona for Italian dining and that includes a lot of the "big name" restraunts. Their pasta dishes are fresh and al dente and the sauce is like mama made - if you were luck enough tp have an Italian mama!!! They make their own huge, dense meatballs, but the sausage they buy is wonderful, too. We usually order the Baked Ziti and have them slice up an order of sausage and put it into the ziti to bake. It always comes out hot and dripping with cheese without any huge wait time. I have never found the staff, most of whom are related to the owners, to be rude or ill mannered.

Oh, and PS, you must buy at least one order of their "Garlic Knots" . They will have you speaking Italian before you finish the first one. Just do not get your cholesterol tested the next day. Actually, you will probably be back at La Famiglia the next day to eat again. Every one we have sent there returns the following day!

Best Pizza in Town, Great Service. If your from New york you feel your at home in LaFamiglia. You walk in & you already know the difference. The smell of the fresh pizza is wonderful. It brings you home where I grew up in Brooklyn. You can't find any better New York Pizza in the valley

Great food not so great service............... Although this is definitely the best Pizza and Hot Wings in town the service is not. I have been there many times and the hospitality of the staff never seems to improve. We order to go just so we do not have to deal with the rudeness but the food still remains the best................

Finally REAL Italian Pizza. I've been to Italy many, many times and truly miss the Pizza when I'm back home in the US. But no more! La Famiglia manages to produce Pizza that actually tastes like the pies you get in a restaurant in Venice (that is Venezia, the original Venice, not California).

Unbelievable! Be sure to order a thin crust hand tossed pizza with ham and mushrooms. THAT is how the real Italian stuff tastes like.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE La Famiglia!
