Not authentic thai in anyway. The staff was never around but the prices were low. I personaly wouldnt go there again.
Time for num num's!.
Okay....WOW! My husband and I had the hardest time finding the right Thai restaurant in Phoenix. We just moved here from California and I've had nothing but the best there so my expectations were high.
I'm obsessed with Thai food. It's my fave. A good way to rate a Thai place is to order the Pad Thai. The Pad Thai here is excellent. It reminds me of home. We ordered a basil dish that was superb! We had asked them to make it "Thai hot" and boy oh boy...they sure did. It made us sweat. We were dazed after. I loved it.
So far, this is my favorite in AZ and we've tried several since we've been here. This is definitely running at #1 right now. The service is decent, the atmosphere is quiet, the hosts are nice, the music is super cool. I like it here. I sometimes get kind of creeped out by the cook staff because they can look a little broke off(I'm a germaphobe) but dang, they make some BANGIN' food.
Thai restaurant. When our favorite Thai restaurant closed, we searched for a while for another one. We had heard that Touch of thai had good food but not such good service. We decided to give it a try, and we were pleased to find both good food and good service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated too. Many items on the menu are hot and spicy, but if you're not a fan of that, there are milder dishes as well. And you can always ask them to make a spicy dish, mild. The prices are moderate -- dishes range from $7.95 to $12.95. There is a lunch menu that is very inexpensive ($5.95-$7.95). Great food!!
Best Thai in Phoenix. It's sad that this restaurant's location in the west side (think Glendale not Phoenix) is limiting it's potential. This is by far the best Thai restaurant in the valley. I have tried them all whether you are talking about Malee's or Swadee, this trumps them all in nearly every regard. The food is simple Thai food but it's execution is where it's secret lies. The food is meticulously prepared and nearly everything on the menu is good. There is a significant difference in quality among it's lunch and dinner serving. While the lunch portions are cheaper, they are slightly less flavorful. Go there for dinner if you want to try their very best. The service varies depending upon your waiter. Nick is the best waiter and I highly suggest you ask for him. Unfortuntely the waitresses at Touch of Thai are aloof and not concerned with customer service. They can actually make your dining experience awful so make certain you request one of the male waitstaff there.
