OMG!!! This is more that a 5 star rating its a 10.. This resort is at the top of its game! The service is awesome. The grounds are impressive. The food is amazing. My sister and I stayed there while we went to a few baseball games at the new Talking stick field nearby.

My room was huge and has a small balcony, The beds are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. We ordered at several of the restraunts and it was all delicious. The latin place has incredible food its a bit pricy but its totally worth it. And most of the drinks they make from scratch. If you can get a good deal definately stay there. They do all kinds of things at the resort and the shops across from them at the commons are great and they even provide a free shuttle.

They have a lazy river and a 24 hour adult only pool. I didn't have time to use the spa that will be next time. Every night they do bagpipes at sunset which is nice. They have great couches and seats outside and a great fire pit to enjoy at night. The grounds had all kinds of bunny rabbits and quail on them.

They even allow your puppy dogs to stay. Do make sure you tell them in advance as they have certain rooms for doggies. I believe they are all located on the ground level floor with a nice patio outside and close proximity to grass. Even if you live in Phoenix take a day or two and stay here and relax. Its worth every penny.

Good rooms, great service, good location. Located in Scottsdale with great food and shopping nearby, this hotel is a winner. We love staying here and two main things come to mind. . .great walking paths around the grounds and great service. The spa is pretty good, certainly better than most, and golf is excellent (Troon North is nearby also and I highly recommend also). Also worth noting, is they take pets (a plus for us), and do everything possible to make the stay enjoyable.

Wow!. My husband and I were in Phoenix for his graduation, and chose to stay at the Westin Kierland. When you have never been to an area and are trying to pick a hotel from a list online, you tend to be a little wary. But we had stayed at a Westin hotel before and loved it, so decided to give it a try, and WOW! We were definitely impressed! We only stayed for a few days, but everything was wonderful. We spent more time at the hotel than we did anywhere! With an adult pool that was open 24 hours, and a family pool that was open during the day with lots of activities, there was always something to do. The exercise room was incredible! We ate most of our meals in the hotel restaurants, such as deseo, Nellie Cashman's and Waltz & Weiser. We had drinks at The Rim, which we enjoyed by the firepit overlooking the golf course. There were S'mores to be made, if you wanted. And the nightly bagpipes were just amazing. And I haven't even touched base on the Heavenly Bed and Bath, or the room in general! Everything was perfect. For our first visit, we couldn't have blindly picked a better hotel. And if I ever get a chance to visit the Phoenix area again, I will not hesitate to stay at the Westin Kierland again. Five stars isn't even close to being enough!

Meeting the test. Got here as a 3 day getaway for a meeting and wished I didn't have to go back. Good shopping nearby in an upscale plaza. The hotel is terrific and the golf courses are amazing. Good food and they brought in Krispy Kremes during the breaks. What more could you ask for?
