We retained Michael Ziton over the telephone after speaking with a number of attorneys from our internet search. We were impressed with the prompt call back on the weekend. Mr. Ziton quickly helped us understand the criminal process. Our family member was seriously charged. Michael Ziton worked out jail release and did a great job on the rest of the case. Michael Ziton had a firm understanding of the issues at hand, did an outstanding job in the courtroom, and settled our matter with the prosecutor beyond our expectations. We did the right thing by hiring Michael Ziton. Mr. Ziton is experienced, courteous and fought hard for my family. Let me explain. In 2011 my son was facing serious criminal charges in Arizona. We interviewed 3 attorneys to represent him and Michael Ziton was the most engaged and experienced lawyer. He had a great command of the facts in my son's case and took the time to listen to all of our concerns. Michael Ziton knows the criminal system and made the court appearances easy to attend. Additionally, at a time when our family was in a state of turmoil, Michael Ziton made us feel at ease and relieved significant stress for us under the circumstances. Michael Ziton is a good lawyer. My sonâ??s serious charges were ultimately dismissed with no jail. We highly recommend hiring Michael Ziton.

I retained Michael Ziton to represent my husband when he was arrested a few months ago. Mr. Ziton quickly answered my call from the internet. I spoke with many lawyers. I was very impressed with Michael Ziton. Mr. Ziton was polite and courteous and guided us through the process. Michael got my husband released from jail and ultimately no charges were against him. Michael Ziton worked hard for us and we were impressed with his knowledge and skill in the courtroom. We recommend Michael Ziton. He really does know the system and knows how to get people out of jail. Thank you Michael!

I hired Michael Ziton to defend me against false money laundering accusations. Instead of defending my innocence, he brokered a deal with the DA even before any charges or discovery took place, a deal that would have resulted in years of prison time and forfeiture of millions of dollars that I did not have. He told me the deal was a â??giftâ??, and that I should â??think of my wife and familyâ??. He demanded tens of thousands in additional fees during the course of his efforts, and deceived me into paying them â?? outside of our existing written contract. Mr. Ziton accused me of â??turning my head awayâ?? from criminal activity â?? my own attorney falsely accused me of criminal activity â?? holy cow! He appeared to believe all of the DAâ??s accusations regardless of what I had to say, based on extremely weak evidence.

Fortunately, I eventually fired him after paying well over 100k in legal expenses to him and his partner, and found another attorney to undo the damage already caused by Michael Ziton. My new attorney was anxious to actively defend me against the false accusations and his efforts resulted in no charges ever being filed. My new attorney also informed me that many of the things I was told by Michael Ziton previously were simply not true; â??should have knownâ?? is

not good enough for a money laundering conviction, â??no one wins against the fedsâ?? â?? my new attorney does, etc..

What I learned from this experience is never hire the first attorney you find on the Internet â?? even if under severe duress. My mistake almost cost me years of prison time and an unbelievable forfeiture, because in my opinion, Mr. Ziton was far more interested in lining his pockets than providing the defense I hired him for.
