view & uploadNasty food - long wait. I went to the Ahwatukee shop based on it being rated the #1 sandwich shop for 2008 by the Ahwatukee Foothills News. I was very disappointed. I order a 12" Bobbie. The sandwich was served on stale bread and the cold, greasy mess was hard to get down. On top of that, it took 20 minutes to get my sandwich. The guy in charge kept telling this one guy that he needs to start getting sandwiches out and stop goofing off. 4 other people came in after I ordered my sandwich and received theirs before I got mine. If you're a fan of cold, greasy, stale sandwiches and have a lot of time on your hands to sit around and wait, I would recommend this store. Otherwise, I would save some money and just go to any local Subway for a sandwich.
Worst Philly Cheese sandwich ever..!!. Three employees and I was second in line and it took 15 minutes for two sandwiches. Bread was stale, meat was tough, zero taste and zero employees.WOW...huge disappointment. This was my third time and will be my last time....if you can't get it correct in three attempts......well......can't waste my money during these tough times.
Great cheesesteak. Best cheesesteak I have ever had. A must if you are in Phoenix. I have brought multiple friends there from out of town and they all agree how great it is.
Super Sandwhiches. This place is awesome. It gets packed at they typical "lunch" time. We have a lot of east coasters at our work and we all love to go there. It is very "family" like, the employees are great. The food is wonderful. get the hot pepper relish on the side if you don't like hot.. A 9" sub is the smallest and average price with tax is $7.30 and should not leave you feeling hungry afterward.
nothing special. Being from Chicago, this was disappointing. You could just make a sandwich at home. Tastes like lunch meat from the grocery store and the service is crummey.
Please Open One in North Scottsdale!!!!. When we lived in Chandler there was no keeping us from this place. It's a bit of hike from North Scottsdale - wish someone would open one nearby. Capriotti's is just awesome. We had several in the Vegas area, and we were so pleased to see one open in the East Valley.
THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB!!!. Hey, look. I am from the Eastcoast and my friend is from Jersey. We say that this place has the best friggin' cheesesteak this side of the Mississippi!! U gotta check it out, esp. if you are missing that great sub sandwich taste from back home! But the seating is not very private, so if u go, plan on taking it with u or just eating at their tall tables that are right in front of the counter. The only other bad thing is they close early on weekends, but i think that's because there isn't much business at night in that area.
THE BEST!!!!. I used to live in Vegas and ate here regularly. After finding out that Capriotti's had moved here it absolutely made my day! You will not be diappointed, The Bobbie, Cran- slam sandwich, and the philly are out of this world. I have never had a sandwich that was so good. Try it at 18" and have the rest for dinner! You are missing out if you don't try this place.
THE BEST EVER!!!. I have been going to Capriotti's since 1996 in Las Vegas. When they moved here, I had all my co-workers eat there for lunch one day, and everyone said the same thing....it was the best they had ever tasted. Try the original Turkey, Roast Beef, cheesesteaks, or pastrami. Their specialty sandwiches are great also. All of my friends know that this is THE place to go for a good sandwich.
