This is not a place you want to hang out, they constantly attack patrons both verbally, physically and get away with video taping their attacks to protect the bar. Many locals will not go to this facility because of the wild crowd this place gets. Altercation in this bar was started by former manager Nick J. Walker who showed up to the Scottsdale court and lied about the altercation he started to the prosecutor. The video was turned over to the police, then the prosecutor but they would not turn it over to the defendant who was a victim of a large blown up package of lies. The insurance company and the owner had no idea what happened and when they obtain the story about it, Nick was removed from this facility and sent down the road. There were two waitresses involved in this altercation as well and they didn't show up to the court because they knew Nick was setting this up to collect a cash settlement from the insurance company, but there was no payment to Nick for injuries he claimed he had. Nick hit his mouth on the waitresses shoulder and they all knew it. He showed up to the Scottsdale court with fabricated evidence he created on the computer to cover the cost of damages he told the prosecutor happened, bu they happened after this incident or the police would have taken pictures not just waited for a video. He was not injured and claimed he was. This story is posted on a website and there is a website being built as of 2013. Evidence provided to court is to be turned over to the defendant and they held that from him and he did not sign the plea agreement and his rights were violated by the court in hiding evidence and not allowing him to speak at a RULE 32 Hearing, which he has a copy of the court recording..THIS COURT HAS TAMPERED WITH THE COURT RECORDING AS WELL, THEY HAVE ERASED THE CONVERSATIONS AND THE DEFENDANT HAD A WITNESS TO THIS COURT TO SEE THEY VIOLATE YOUR RIGHTS HERE IN THIS COURT.....STAY AWAY OR YOU MAY BE ATTACKED IN SCOTTSDALE AND SET UP BY THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM HERE. THE ACTUAL TIME LINE IN THIS CASE IS OVER 50 PAGES LONG SO FAR ABOUT NICKS LIES. WHAT IS AMAZING IS HOW CAN HE LIVE WITH HIMSELF FOR TELLING THE LIES HE DID......NICK PUSHED THE PATRON FIRST AND THE BARTENDER SEEN IT AND SO DID THE CAMERA. After talking with many lawyers here......many will not take cases in the Scottsdale court because of the corruption.
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!! I wish I could give it no stars. I had a terribble experience here and wrote a review on Yelp. Their PR person contacted me and asked more about it, I told them. They asked if they could pass my information along to the Director of Operations/Owner and I received a two page letter degrading me and basically telling me that I am a self-righteous b*tch. Regrettably, I have been a regular at this place for more than three years, we're talking multiple times a week. I will never step foot here again, I only wish I could attach the PDF letter that was sent to me so you all could read it. I cannot imagine ever sending something of this sort to an upset customer. Unbelievable behavior, they should be ashamed of themselves.
Best sports bar food in town!. Take note of the warning on the menu. Their focacchia's are INDEED addictive. I stop by Zipp's whenever I'm town and I have to get a Moinaco Focacchia. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Great, quality fun. Zipps is a place me and my friends look forward to every game night. We like to get together with our families,,, order wings and watch the game. The waitresses are great as well as the food. Personally, I would much rather spend $10.81cents for 2 sodas and medium wings then stay at home and order pizza for $20 dollers.
Poor service. I have been going to Zipps for the last 3 years. The "veteran" staff can be friendly and prompt, but there's too few of them. Lately, the service has declined drastically. The food is still great, and the sports bar is pretty good, but don't expect the newer staff members to be prompt OR friendly. It's too bad, really. Could be a great place.
relax, catch the game. Zipps is a geat place to go when you want to enjoy your beer, enjoy your company, and feel like a part of the scene. The bartenders recognize you after just a couple visits, and the people at the bar are friendly and willing to chat about sports. Go Vikes!
