Tips for Texas Roadhouse

Last night for dinner my Texas T-bone was under cooked and tough. Returned and was brought another T-bone under cooked and tough. Half rack of ribs were old and dry, sirloin overcooked. I ordered Mug a Rita (margarita in a mug) advertised in the lobby for $2.49. Paid my bill and at home realized they charged my $12 for my two Mug a Rita's. Server great, noise, food sucked, won't be back. Best steaks are from a meat market and grilled at home on my Weber.

Saw a jock strap @ dinner. Tonite family (2 kids under 10) sat just outside of the bar area. TR had Tr3s on the front TV. Where my family saw a man in a jock strap bend over (Butt uncensored until he bent over). Told the top woman and she gave me an excuse that a sport games must have been on and someone forgot to change the channel. I know Tr3s does not show sports! But I smiled and came home and wrote this review. Kids are not scar, but it left a bad taste and will not go back.

Texas--themed barbecue chain provides carnivores with a family-friendly spot for a hand-cut steak or rack of tender ribs.. In Short
With dozens of locations spread across most of the country, this faux-roadhouse chain has become a dependable spot for families in search of a casual spot for affordable steaks and down-home comfort fare. The playful menu is dotted with kid-friendly titles (chicken "critters," "road kill" chopped sirloin) and options (add caramel and marshmallow to a baked sweet potato for a dollar). In-house hand-cut steaks come in a plethora of cuts and sizes.

Best Value For Steaks. I?ve been here a couple of times, the food is excellent and so is their service. This has to be the best place to have a steak in Mesa, I?ve been to other Chain Steak Houses and none of them can compare to this one; It?s the Best hands down. I look forward to going again this Saturday with my mom. I have took her to the other steak house next door but that was a BIG mistake and a waste of money too I should of went here instead the prices are about the same but you get better food and service at the Roadhouse. Don?t know how that other chain steak house can stay in business when it?s next to a better one(soon there will be a closing sign on their door and building will be knocked down for more parking for the Texas Roadhouse; it could happen). Sure the atmosphere is not your typical romantic dim lighting, clean floors, and stuck up waiters. To be honest I prefer the Texas style steak house it?s more fun and friendly and great place to hang out and relax. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants an excellent meal and not spend double elsewhere.

Great steak at a good price. I am actually writing about the location on gilbert and the san tan 202, however, I cannot find the listing. Anyway, I have been here many times and I just have to speak out at how pleased I am.

The waiter I had most recently was very friendly, if I remembered his name I would give him a shout out. I took some friends, who had never ate there before, and he was very patient, as well as helpful.

The rolls are delicious, my steak was phenomenal, cesaer salad dressing is great, and the baked potato tasted like it was homemade. Some resturants have prepackaged vegetables and potatos, and if texas roadhouse does, they fooled me. Reasonable price for a great meal. Other places like, The Keg have greats steaks as well, however, you pay about double. If your looking for a fantastic meal and a decent price, I would recommend them!

Best rolls!. You've got to try their rolls! Ribs and chicken are good. I must go back and try the salmon platter. Sweet potato is very, very good!

Great steak. Wait time of more than an hour on a Friday evening. Starter Cactus Blossom much better than the one served at the Outback. New York strip steak came well trimmed, and cooked as ordered. House steak sauce leaves a lot to be desired, it's not A1. Friendly service, cheap Margaritas before 6pm. Watch out for the strange balloon guy working for tips.

If you love meat, belly up to the table!. Our first exposure to Texas Roadhouse was in Glen Allen, VA. My wife and I were floored by the tastiest ribs weve ever had. The same held true for the restaurant in Albuquerque, NM. and Gilbert, AZ. Therefore, I have to say, good eats can be found in most any Roadhouse.

All the restaurants we visited were hectic. Call Ahead!!! Youve been warned!! They are busy and noisy (say what?)!! Peanut shells adore the floors so grab yourself a bucket as you get seated. As the Roadhouses are hectic, the service can be sketchy. Take your time and be patient because the food will be worth the wait.

If you love meat, youve found a Nirvana!!

Not up to the rest. As a chain restaurant, I have had the pleasure of dining in many of the Roadhouse's across the country. However, after two different trips to this location, we have added it to our "Never Again" list! The first time, the steaks were undercooked for 2 of our party. By the time they returned them to be eaten, they were burned on the outside and not really appetizing. The second time, the steak had a strip of cartiledge thru it that made it impossible to eat. On both occassions, when we brought this to someone's attention, all we got was a shrug of the shoulder and a not-very-heartfelt "Sorry."

Fantastic. This steak house is great!!! It was completely packed on a Sunday night, yet we still didn't not wait long and the service was probably the best service we ever had!!! The food was tremendous. The staff assisted each other when necessary and never once gave the wrong dish to the wrong person! Everyone's food was excellant. My fiance and I will definately eat at Texas Roadhouse instead of Black Angus and Outback! I was very very impressed! It also seems like a great place to celebrate a birthday. There must have been 5 birthdays the night we were there.
