THE BEST BAR IN SCOTTSDALE. If you're looking for great food, well made cocktails, a friendly and hard working staff along with a a very cordial atmosphere, Broker's is for you. I've been calling it my joint for almost 10-years and have nothing but good things to say about the place and the people that work there. It's the kind of place anyone is welcome and the crowd is a nice mix of people that get along and have a good time. The music is the right volume so you can hear it but not have to yell over it to talk to the person next to you. GREAT food so a good place to go for a snack or a full meal. I take all of my out of town visitors to Brokers and all of them love it and want to go back the next time they're in town. One of the few places I've been where you can fire up a cigar on the patio and not have people giving you a dirty look. They sell nice cigars if you forget yours and always have a cutter, matches or a lighter and a real cigar-sized ash tray for you to use.

One bad apple - and watch your credit card. We stayed across the street from Broker's for a week so we ate here often. The food was okay but often the place was quite crowded. On one night the male waiter took forever to bring our simple drink order and never followed up to see how we were doing. We decided not to give him a tip. (We tipped 20% on all other nights.)

I just received my credit card statement and the waiter decided to help himself to a 20% tip. I contested this with the credit card company - the amount wasn't that much but it still constitutes fraud. Broker's is okay but not exceptional...but watch your bill!

Best sliders in town!!!!!. If you are feeling particularly Ron Burgandyish you must go to Brokers Bar in North Scottsdale. The atmosphere is stellar, I have not found any other bar in north Scottsdale that comes close. The North Scottsdale bar scene is usually ultra trendy, but Brokers Bar and Grill feels like an upscale cheers. Brokers Bar has a large selection of wines and the food is delicious. The sliders are fillet mignon...and if you want to drive your hog to the spot, the front has reserved parking for bikes.

A great place to take clients, and the wrap around patio is climate controlled. One of the last cigar friendly bars (though only on the patio) you can even rent out your own humidor.

And yes, the place smells of rich mahogany. If you are looking for a North Scottsdale Bar and grill. Brokers is a must.

You missed the best burger on your list.... The owner doesn't believe in marketing as much as putting his money where his clientele's mouths are. His ground sirloin burger is perfect. I have sent, literally, hundreds of people there over the years and not once have I heard anything less than, "You were SO RIGHT about that burger!" And they always go back for seconds (and thirds...and...).

Broker's is a thriving business... all by word of mouth. That doesn't happen unless the product, service, and atmosphere are excellent. And Broker's is just that--the kind of place that you can relax and have a great time and a great meal!
