Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor..
In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.
Mr.. I've had a couple steaks at the Outback and they both have been tough and full of gristle. I don't know how they can claim to be a steakhouse when their steaks are horrible and inedible. I never finished either one. If you want good steak, go to Ruth's or Flemming's
MMM!!!....Outback...aarrgghh!!!. Very good!!! Steak cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. Shrimp on the 'Barbie is superb. Delicious bread, and excellent steaks at a very good price!!!
Know our temp's. There is nothing more aggravating then ordering a steak medium rare and it always comes out medium to medium well. The OutBack I went to really needs to learn how to cook/grill/fry a steak.
outrageously delish. We have always had excellent service and top rate quality food at Outback!
Say G'day To Taste. If you love good steak, in large portions, and a decadent desert to top it off, this is the place. The steakes are large, tender, and very tasty. The deserts are really excellent, especially the Chocolate Thunder From Down Under. The price is higher than I would like. For diner for two, plan on spending a minimum of $60. However, the food is excellent!
Less bang/more wait for the buck. I first time I went to Outback Steakhouse my boyfriend and I waited over 2.5 hours for a table. Since the wait was so long we even had to go to a local fast food place in order to not starve to death. For the price of the food I did not think it was great at all. I've been to other steakhouses that have cheaper prices and better food. The next time I went my friend and I were able to get right in, but the food was still awful and prices were still high. I'll never go there again.
small portion. The 3 outback steakhouses I have visited were terrible. Another fast food resturant acting like a steakhouse. Food portions were tiny for the price, and the steak wasn't hot and was bland tasting. Lost my business after third try.
noisy nothing. poor quality-noise overcrowded because of not so cheap prices Too many children They try and push extras because the servers get perks for extras sold.
Good Steakhouse. The food is good, but a little pricey. There isn't enough parking - they share the parking lot with Red Lobster.
