Ethan. I've been going to Ethan for about a year and the level of service on my past two visits has made me decide to look elsewhere. I just can't justify spending $150+ for someone to continually walk away and be rough with my coconut. The last time I went I specifically asked the appt setter if I would have enough time booking the appt two and a half hours before I needed to be somewhere (that was the only appt available). Well, I was late. It took 2 hours and 45 minutes to cut and color my hair. He may be brilliant but walking away three times just while blow drying my hair is not ok. Not listening to me regarding what I wanted for color is not ok. Granted, it looks fine, but he's definitely done better and I'm so upset about the experience that he lost my business.

Do NOT Bother. I had an appointment for yesterday (Saturday, 7/17/10) at 2:30 (I made the appointment over two weeks ago). Ethan called me Saturday morning and explained that he had to be in Scottsdale by 4:30 and asked if he could see me today at 10:30 AM. I said, sure, no problem, I can rearrange my schedule and will be there at 10:30. I pulled up at 10:20 and they weren't open yet...there was another women waiting. I found out she had been waiting since 10 for her 10 AM with Ethan. I sent him a text asking if we were still on and saying that the other women and I were waiting outside of the salon. Nothing back.....10:30 I called his cell. No answer. 10:40 I called his cell. No answer. I ended up leaving at 10:50. The other women was still waiting, she had driven all the way from Surprise!! (BTW, her original appointment was Friday and Ethan called asking to reschedule her for today. This was her first appointment, my second and certainly last.

I'm beyond mad but more than that, how can you have so little regard for other people and their time?? I cannot fathom just blowing people off like that! Customers!! I guess Ethan has such a strong and loyal client base that newer clients are disposable.

Guaranteed I will NOT go back and will NOT recommend Ethan or the salon to anyone.
