His relative has a much better place in Mesa. This young Vietnamese couple has probably made one of the best Pho in the city. It is located at 1820 W Southern Ave in Mesa 480-898-0760. His wife is the chef since he doesn't cook. The service isn't one of their forte since he and his wife is the only one running the show. By looking at all the patrons--majority Asians, you will know this is the best place in the city since I personally will not spend money on food is this chef is worst than what I can generate at home and I am extremely picky and have returned many food which is substandard. The place in the University area is a little more expensive. The place has to be both CHEAP and GOOD. In my experience, prices generally have inverse relationship on how good the food is and I have been dining in one of the most expensive restaurant in Europe and turned out to be disappointed.

Love this place.. If you have ever lived in Asia, you will love the feeling of Pho Nhat. Nothing flashy, Mom-Pop feeling with a very busy luch clientelle.

Their soup is excellent, just like I ate while in Asia for a few years. The vermicelli noodle dishes were fresh and deliceous. The spring rolls were excellent. I LOVE their curry chicken, kind of a mix between Thai curry and Indian curry. My wife always gets the lemongrass chicken, and/or the BBQ Pork Fried Rice.

There are other locations in the valley, but this one is the best and fasted service. They recognize me everytime I come in.
