Phoenix >David's Bridal
Employees, always remember that you work at David's Bridal in Ahwatukee, not a high end bridal shop in Manhattan. Acting uppity just makes you look ridiculous.
Here is a tip: go to the Scottsdale store! Stay away from this one, especially Jean who pretty much called my daughter a fat liar!
Horrible service. I would never buy a dress from this store out of self respect. This is a special time in a woman's life and the dress consultant seriously treated me horribly. I felt judged and uncomfortable. I found a dress I liked but was not going to buy it since the woman was rude. She didn't give me different styles to try on and looked annoyed when I needed more dresses to try on since I didn't find the one within 3 tries. Luckily my friend was there and helped picked out a few more. That wasn't her job so I think I tried on 6 and left. When I found one that I said I liked the woman said, "We take credit cards over the phone." Yeah right, I wouldn't contribute 1 cent to that woman's commission even if the dress was for sure the one. I'm going somewhere else to buy my dress and suggest you do too.
I went into this David's bridal because I knew they have a wide range of variety. Two days before I could go into this store I had a terrible experience at the david's bridal at North Tatum Blvd,in Phoenix because of their irresponsible behaviour and poor customer service.
Yet I took the risk and went into another david's Bridal which is located on East Ray Rd, Phoenix and I am glad I did. I had been to several bridal stores like Destiny's bridal, Mariee, and different other bridal boutiques but the service was exceptional in david's Bridal on East Ray Road.
My consultant's name was Stephanie and she was on the ball. Stephanie spent more than 2 or 3 hours with me and helped me try on nearly 7 to 10 dresses with different styles. She knew her stock well, she asked me to rate the dresses as I kept trying them. She was polite, and worked with me in enthusiasm and great energy until I found the dress.
I found a gorgeous dress ! The dress that suits me and everyone who walked into the store could not take their eyes off of my dress. I bought it and I also bought the corset bra, petticoat, shoes dyed in blue, Tiara, earrings and necklace and blusher and my veils from the same store. I got my dress altered and everything went well. I have my dress in my closet and I can't wait to wear it on the wedding day!
Thanks to the manager and special thanks to Stephanie! " Stephanie you rock!"
And if you are looking for bridal dresses, let me tell you, go on ahead to this store and ask for stephanie if she is available. Because you need a good consultant who is able to work with you patiently and with energy and smile. You also need variety of dresses and dresses ranging with varying prices to try on and see what exactly suits you.
All the best if you are shopping for dresses here. I pray you find The DRESS!!
Quick Painless Best Time.. I went into David's Bridal with my guard up. I have always heard negative things about this place but I took the risk and I'm very happy I did. I went into the Ahwatukee location on a very busy Friday. Not knowing they work by appointments the girl at the front did her best to take me in. I did have to wait about a half hour but that gave me enough time to think what I was looking for. My experence at this location was good! My consultant showed me everything there was to their location and was very sweet to work with. I walked away with my wedding gown that day, I can't wait to go back. Brides don't be afraid!
CUSTOMER FRIENDLY I SCORE A 2. So this was the brides choice Davids Bridal so I can't fight about that part of it but, they are by far the worst place I have ever been. So to start it all off I made an appt in advance the lady taking the appts was clearly rude. Then I go in for my appt and the sale clerk that the bride picked of course was busy with another bride which means they will be spending way more money than I ever will because I am simply the brides maid so I received very little help it was horrible she picked out about 3 ugly dresses and sent me to the dressing room I did not see her again until I was ready to go no zipping no discussion nothing they are just horrible.
Do NOT Shop here if you'd like to leave w/ ur self esteem.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, IN STORE OR ONLINE--RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, AND AN ONLINE RETURN TAKES 6 WEEKS BEFORE YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!! AND YOU DONT GET TO TALK TO A CUST SERVICE REP TO FIND OUT WHERE YOUR MONEY IS, B/C THEY DONT HAVE RETURN CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
The first time I went to Davids Bridal with my friend for her wedding, the sales women were extremely rude, not helpful at all and the dresses lacked style. We were not allowed to take the dresses off the racks, we could not get anyone to assist us, and we were told that Saturdays are their busiest days so there were no appts open without pre-scheduling. We left and went to Tri-City Bridal in Casa Grande, where Virginia was wonderful.
I really didnt want to go a second time, but my MOH said we should just stop in and see. We were immediately barked at about an appt. I said that I would be happy to sign up for an appt and look while i waited for something to open up. The twit at the door did not seem happy about that. We looked around for a good 45 min and no one once asked if they could assist. The twit at the front seemed perturbed that I was checking if any appts opened up. My MOH and i just said to hell with it, they're not paying attention, and tried the dresses on ourselves. Finally a manger came over to find out what we were doing and she began assisting us. The manager at the RayRoad store was very helpful, but her underlings are twits without home training, etiquette, and if they weren't zipping up dresses would probably live in a box behind Taco Bell for all the couth and intelligence they have. And the dresses were horrendous! Imagine acting so snobby about their low-quality dresses that were filthy.
Finally, I decided on a dress that I found on their website. Looked beautiful online, but no way to tell since its only available ONLINE. Everyone at the store on on their customer service number assured me that it would arrive promptly and if there were any problems, I could return it without hassles. What a lie--I didnt realize that I ordered Ivory instead of White. The receipt for the online purchase did not arrive until 14 hours later. I immediately sent an email saying that the color was incorrect and could they please ship white. A day later a guys says no, since its already gone for shipping (another lie, it didnt ship until 2 days later). They said that it would arrive but i could just refuse the package. It came while I was gone to work. Tried it on, but didnt know if I just needed a different size or what, sent it back priority mail with instructions to exchange for white. Checked the USPS website and they had received it 3 days before, but no one bothered to inform me. I emailed them and they said they didnt have online exchanges or store credits for online returns, and a manual check would be sent in approx 3-6 weeks. Screw Davids Bridal and their low quality, dirty items and poor poor customer service
Very unhappy. I went to David's with my MOH. As soon as I walked in they barked at me about having an appointment. I told them no and they were so rude to us. They told me that I couldn't try on dresses without an appointment, which I understood, but then they gave us dirty looks and followed us around as we just browsed the store. The dresses didn't seem very unique and the sales ladies were cold and made us feel so unwelcomed that I chose not to make an appointment at all.
Wedding dress hunting ground for real-world brides on a budget. Princesses need not apply..
A chic, sleek boutique, it's not. But those willing to look carefully will likely find a big-time bargain. The staff is helpful and knows the merchandise but doesn't provide extensive one-on-one attention or advice. Stores (particularly on weekends) can be swamped with brides-to-be. David's specializes in beaded satin A-lines and simple lace sheaths that just hit the $500 mark. Most labels are tasteful but of medium-quality: Gloria Vanderbilt, Lady Eleanor, Oleg Cassini and the likes.
AMAZING. I went in 2 weeks after I got engaged the ladies at davidsbridal were the best. I went to the one on 75th ave and Bell rd. I was greated right way and with in about 5 minutes of talking to my consultant she picked out three beautiful dresses that she thought I would like and her first choice was my first choice. I have got to say they know exactly what they are doing. Davids bridal was been the absolute bes thing every. Thank you so much every one.
