Chris Stucker and Misty at Tattooed Planet....awesome! My sisters and I all came in for matching tattoos and they nailed it! Our tattoos exceeded our expectations and the staff were so friendly. I would definitely recommend this tattoo shop to anyone who is getting a tattoo!

Extremely professional and talented! I was recommended to Misty and she ended up being everything I wanted! My mother passed away and I recieved a lovely portrait of her that's a perfect rendition. Aslo, the staff was kind and understanding and made my entire experience worthwhile. I was leary to get a tattoo, as this was my first, but am now comfortable going to Misty for the rest of my tattoo needs! Thanks Misty and Tattooe Planet staff for making this experience of mine personal and comfy!

Misty is my go to girl! I went in last night and she did an amazing piece that was 6 weeks in the making. Day 1 I told her what I envisioned, when I walked in a week later she showed me the most AMAZING sketch I have ever seen. The tattoo took 2 sessions, and both times she was nothing but professional. The 2nd 3 hour sit was a bit much and through the entire thing she kept me talking and helped keep my focus on anything but the pain. My tattoo is breath taking,it literally brought me to tears when it was finished. The people at this shop are all amazing, and the talent is beyond belief. If you are looking for a tattoo and you are in ANY are... drive on down to Tempe. You will be glad you did!

Amazing Experience at Tattooed Planet. The staff at Tattooed Planet are very helpful with any design a person might have! Me and all my friends (6 of us) decided to get tattoos on a whim. Although 3 of my friends wanted to get tattooed that day, the rest of us scheduled appointments for larger tattoos that needed to be drawn up. Misty was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with my vision and I ended up with a very beautiful tattoo! I walked in wanting to get a tattoo dedicated to my mother and I walked out with a gorgeous portrait! The art and skill level of the artists there surpassed my expectations and I recommend them to everyone! All my friends and I were very happy with the results. Thanks Misty!

A call to Tattooed Planet. I hate to say it because I like the staff but, they are very unprofessional. I hope that they will read this and change their ways! The work is average with alot of potential to be great ...nothing that I would rave about. Lots of egos and attitudes, which is amusing until you are getting inked. I'm taking my money somewhere else because this is life long work and I don't trust them not to mess me up. You can be a bad assed rebel and take pride in your work, listen to and respect your clients visions. My last tattoo was very simple yet my artist still made an error. Its not huge but I notice it and its MY BODY! Caused by lack of focus or concern for the matter. The other stuff that is wrong with the other work can be fixed. I just hope that they can work on professionalism regardless of trying to be cool because you don't want your clients telling folks how much you suck. Word spreads fast in the tattoo community!

Quality Custom INK!! good pricing!!. Joey Luck @ Tattooed Planet took care of what others couldn't and wouldn't. I was in town from Chicago, and had stopped by a few shops to see about getting a custom piece done. Most of the shops would not take my work, for one reason or another, mainly in my opinion pure lazyness (they stated they did not want to work so late). Now I was a tattoo artist myself in Chicago, and would never turn down work as long as we were open, and at times would open on odd hours just to do a piece, ESPECIALLY CUSTOM WORK!! (Barbed wire, tribal, and butterfly flash gets boring as hell after a while folks.) When I asked the "other" shops if they had any recommendations on other spots, they told me there was nothing good and nobody would do this kinda work this late (it was ONLY quarter to 10pm on a Saturday!!!), D-bags. So continuing my search, I drove by Tattooed Planet and stopped in. Now this is what a tattoo shop should be inside. They had at least 3 customers being worked on at the time, and a few onlookers that were to put it nicely "on the fence" about getting a tattoo. After one or two minutes of looking around at some of the work and admiring the bulletin board with some limited time custom artist sketches, I was greeted in a nonchalant, sunny disposition (I found this very appropriate and entertaining). This was my kind of shop. I explained to Joey Luck I wanted a design loosely based off the arizona state flag. Joey and I went back and forth over a few ideas on placement, style, and color. He then drew it directly on my the back of my upper arm flowing into the shoulder and back as because of the placement and flow, a transfer was not the best option. While getting the tattoo, listened to some great music, and enjoyed banter with Joey. Two and a half hours later, I had a very nicely done, large bright custom piece with nice fades and whips. I have to give it to Joey here because not only am I picky when it comes to work, but he also had to deal with the fact that my skin was like a lizard and peeling pretty bad from an argument I had with the sun and lost. He knew how to handle it and days later I am even happier than I was. I recommend this shop and in particular Joey Luck. Just know what in the hell you want and for God's sake, let your tattoo artist have some creative influence when you get work done. It is so much more fun and meaningful.

Completely Unprofessional. Today I had an appointment to get a tattoo at 1 o'clock with Joey Luck. I showed up about 15 minutes early, hoping to talk to him about the design before he got to work. He wasn't there yet. That's fine. I'm his only appointment of the day. No biggie.

I wait... for 45 minutes. There was no phone call to me or to the store. The lady there tried calling him 3 times to see where he was and he never bothered to reply. Finally, at 130, he calls the store and asks to talk to me. First words he said were "What's up? Why are you getting so mad?"

I'll tell you why I was so mad. I paid him. He picked the appointment time and he didn't show up. Then he didn't bother to tell me he was running late. And then he has the balls to make it sound like I shouldn't be freaking out.

Welcome to having a job. You give good customer service or you lose your customers. No excuses.

Oh, and while I was walking out, the ladies there were telling me to "chill out" like I was overreacting. I told them he was unprofessional and one lady replied "We're f*cking tattoo artists, crazy lady!"

Here's my reply "I'm a paying customer."

The staff at tattoo planet are a bunch of jerks pretending to be PROFESSIONAL tattoo artists. If he had just called me and told me he was running late, there would have been no issue. Instead I walked out the door and so did all the people I know who want tattoos. (which will equal over 1000 dollars once they get all their work done.)
