I wish there was a negative star, because if there was I would use it! I feel so miss treated and wronged it's unbelievable!! These guys are slime balls BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!! You know the term bait and switch? Well apparently they created it. They give car sales the bad reputation it has today! 100% I feel so disgusted with them, my hands are shaking and it's hard to write this review.
Here's the scoop:
After talking with Amber in the online sales department (who by the way answers the phone, who by the way is not a sales rep but a sales coordinator whatever that means) she had her finance manager call me back. He told me there was no way to get our payment lower than $580 for what we wanted. I thanked him for his time and told him that we were a young family and had a strict car budget of $450 and could not go a penny over. This morning I get a call from Amber, and she tells me that her manager Chris looked at the deal and they can get us the Limited for our monthly price. I was very skeptical because the day before they were telling me that the base model was going to be too expensive (once they added a moon roof and rear camera). Amber explained to me that Chris had showed her that because those were add on features and not part of the stock model that the car was actually going to have better residuals if we just got the car the way we wanted it. I still was skeptical and asked her if that was including my trade which she replied yes, and that Chris said we had a deal. I told her if the car was a penny over that price we would not purchase the car and that it would be a hassle for my wife to get down there with our 2 year old son but if they could make it happen we would gladly come. She guaranteed us it was. I told her we wanted to expedite the process and get started with whatever we could get started with over the phone. She had us go online and fill out our information which they then used to pull our credit. I texted Amber once this was done and asked her if we were still on track in which she replied back that we were all set and good to go. At this point my wife and I were ecstatic. We even shared with Amber about how we have been bait and switched before and continuously asked her what else needed to be done. So once my son woke up from his nap my wife grabbed him and rushed over to the dealership. When she arrived she met Amber and then was introduced to a new sales girl who was taking over. The only problem was that she didn't know anything about our deal. I called Amber and she told me that there was nothing to worry about they knew they didn't have the color we wanted with the features we wanted but wanted to show us a car with the features we said we wanted just to make sure it was the right model. Then I get a call from my wife who tells me that due to our trade and our credit (689) they told her we couldn't get that deal and that the car payment would now be $590 for the vehicle they had, or we had to bring $4,000 out of pocket which was not part of the deal. They in every sense of the word BAIT AND SWITCHED us. Knowing full well that they couldn't get us the deal they promised us. Chris was extremely rude and unclear and when I explained my frustration with his broken promise and how I planned to complain online and spend as much time doing this as he waisted. His reply was the Name is Moore Chrysler Jeep, good luck with that.... So I'm making it my mission to let everyone who reads this know what kind of people they are dealing with at Moore Chrysler Jeep. (Chris is the slimiest guy I've ever had the opportunity to speak to and didn't even have the decency of taking out is chewing tobacco while talking to me).
The fact that they could tell us what we wanted to hear to get us in is just dirty. But to drag a mother in with a 2 year old who is crying and running around and does not want to be there knowing full well they couldn't do the deal is repulsive.
Worse customer service EVER! We spent all weekend car shopping. Did thorough research on the make and model we wanted before going out. When we got to Moore the salesman came out like he had no interest in even helping us from the beginning. We test drove the vehicle..quite a few problems with a already detailed and serviced vehicle including a non working seat belt latch. The vehicle didn't even have all of the STANDARD features because it was a wholesale car. This didn't seem like a big deal to the salesman. When we went in to talk we filled out the app and after he comes back he quotes us a payment $200 MORE than any other place we had visited. Wouldn't quote with the actual price advertised they did it for $23,000 when we were quoted $22,000 when communicating over the phone and email. Kept asking for more $ down...all they wanted was our cash and wouldn't budge until they got it....and we didn't budge either! BEWARE: My husband is a software engineer and when looking to fill out the online application found out that their site IS NOT SECURE! So when you submit all of your info including your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER you could be giving it out to the world to steal your info. When we told the salesman he shrugged it off like it's not a big deal, IT IS!!! Regardless if you decide to buy from them DO NOT FILL OUT A ONLINE APPLICATION THROUGH THEIR SITE!! The whole scenario was too fishy for us and left later than we should have!
I have been buying vehicle from Roy Morrison for years and if you need a wrangler hes your man. He sold me 2 Wranglers. Great guy
Worst Experience - No Integrity – These guys are only about the sale. They do not stand by their service or products and are HORRIBLE when you have a problem. They will blame the customer, or the non-factory parts that they install in your vehicle. Do not buy any additional add-ons from them as they will not stand behind them. They sold us a brand new vehicle and we let them install a lift kit and offroad tires. The vehicle has had the "death wobble" since it was new and they have never fixed the problem, but continue to charge us to make repairs that never fix the problem. It is extremely unsafe and has created multiple near-miss head-on collisions and has caused multiple other related problems w/ the car. At 50K miles, we've spent several thousand dollars, but still have the same issues and now it needs a new transmission and steering box. The owner doesn't return phone calls or emails and is extremely rude when you finally reach him. Upon receiving my BBB complaint, he immediately called me to tell me he was going to sue me for slander. He'll spend his money on a frivolous suit when all he needed to do was fix the problem his dealership created. Good luck with the suit Matt!
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! – They are an OUTSTANDING DEALERSHIP! They are very easy to work with and extremely accommodating. I am on my 4th vehicle purcahse and they continue to AMAZE me! I must say my last Jeep purchase was my BEST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I would recommend all of my friends and family purchase and service their cars at Moore!
