SO Discouraging!. What a discouraging experience! My boyfriend and I went to look at engagement rings at this Jared Galleria of Jewelry and were treated TERRIBLY. First, they jumped on us (giving one another dirty looks) in the way that shows how commission-hungry they are. The botted water they offered us was not even sealed and literally had tap water ice cubes in it.

When we were finally looking at some rings, I asked a simple question, "Where do you get your diamonds?" I come from a very socially aware city, where this type of question would be par for the course.

I was shocked though, when the sales woman "helping" us literally got in my face, leaning over the counter saying, "Do you know where your shirt is made? Do you know where your glasses are made? Your shoes? Your watch?!... That movie has brought us nothing but grief! (I'm assuming she means B. Diamond)" I was startled. Then she asked if Jared was our first stop in looking at rings. When we answered honestly "yes", she immediately tried to pawn us off on every passing sales person, asking if they were busy....

Finally we were handed off to someone else who was only slightly more friendly.

Needless to say, we left there feeling so disrespected and discouraged about a process that should be so exciting! I felt ready to give up, shocked by how terrible the whole jewelry store experience was, and told my boyfriend that perhaps he should just pick something out. Thankfully, we went to another company with Amazing customer service and far more reasonable prices, and even found our ring that day.
