Editorial Review for Padre Murphy's – by Andrew Means
In Short
With 60 television screens, off-track betting on horses and greyhounds, and a varied menu from a prize-winning chef, it's no wonder this establishment is typically packed. Padre Murphy's is part sports bar, part restaurant and part social hotspot, and the clientele ranges from families with young children to senior couples. Not the least of its attraction is the proximity of Peoria Sports Complex, where the San Diego Padres take up residence during spring training.

Service is rude, management is spineless, and they should seriously consider hiring a bouncer if they are going to cater to drunken-rowdy clientele, which based on our experience, is who they are interested in keeping around. Sorry excuse for anything "Irish" or any "pub." A shame. I do not recommend this place to anyone who has an ounce of class.

thiis is their idea of Shepard's Pie to go for almost $10. In each corner is a small scoop of mashed potato's. Than they break up a hamburger and toss it in with the smalest portion of veggies I have ever seen. Never been back and I live two blocks away. Trader Joes has the better deal with brisket as meat, not chopped hamburger. Will not even go their for New Years.
Pros: cold draft
Cons: eat before you go to fill up
