Very disappointing experience! After calling for a reservation that was not honored and being told a 10-15 minute wait ending up to being a 45+ wait to be seated. Was told a manager will come to speak to us and that did not even happen... I'd advise to drive to another location as I will be going to have a great experience as I have had at other locations!
An open kitchen churns out wood-fired pizzas and fresh-made pastas at this casual Sicilian-American chain..
In Short
Decorated with family photos of founders Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba, the open dining rooms pack groups of friends and extended families into four- and six-person tables and booths; smaller parties or couples can grab stools at the open kitchen's adjoining bar to watch chefs make dinner. The traditional southern Italian menu offers grill specialties like steak Marsala and fire-roasted chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes; pasta dishes include fettuccine Alfredo and garlic-sauteed shrimp with linguine.
Great italian. I sorta got introduced to this place on a really bad date, but the food was great and I've gone back a zillion times and brought my current beau with me. The best thing about this place is that everything is good - the food, service, staff, dessert, mood. That's why I keep going back. They make great amaretto sours and if you're there make sure you get the Mezzaluna or the Pasta Carrabba they kick butt.
Good food with good friendly people. When i first got there i was greeted with friendly happy smiling hostesses, and the wait was a resanable one. We got seated ( i went with three family members) all picked out what we wanted to eat. the waiters were very friendly and cheacked up on us frequently. We got our food, and one plate had a delay but that was a 5minute delay which was worth while, the lasagna was terrific. Overall the experiance was a good one, the mood was light and it was a fun place to be at.
Better than Olive Garden for sure!. Great food, great service, great drinks but a little crowded...to be expected though! Will definitley come back. I thought it was better than the Olive Garden and I'm sure they are competing for business now!
