A Scam to any Landlord...

My husband and I moved into a new home and like many other residents in Phoenix these days, were unable to sell our previous home. The property sat empty for months- we advertised in the newspaper, craigslist, signs on the corners of nearby streets, we tried everything! So after months of no success, we invested in Go Renter/ Home America. Our initial investment was not cheap- $600 for advertising, $400 in reserves, lockbox fee, rental fee, etc. But, they sold us that they were the experts. The honeymoon period with the salesman (Noel Pulanco) was over the day we signed the dotted line. Noel Pulanco was a complete joke, full of unfinished promises. After one month, they did it- they rented out property! We figured maybe Noel was worth putting up with to get our end result. Then came the fun from Go Renter. The "renter" they put in our home didn't pay her first months rent. After 5 days, they sent her a late notice- guess who pays the fee for them to write the letter? Us- $25 to write a letter! Then came the 10 day notice, court notice, eviction process- you get the point. The fees were almost $2000 not to mention the fact that we didn't get any income for rent. As we went through our trashed property, we found a large box full of unpaid bills, eviction notices, etc. This "renter" they put in our home was practically homeless! There is NO WAY she passed their rigorous credit check process that Go Renter promised to do. Our ?customer service" lady, Nancy Loveless was even more fun to deal with- unanswered phone calls, emails- nothing but a pain to get a hold of this woman. Figures for Go Renter! This company takes advantage of Phoenix homeowners who believe they will rent your property with a good tenant. Check out the best part- we checked the B B B for this company- a whopping 56 COMPLAINTS IN THE PAST 36 MONTHS!!! Guess we aren't the only ones who got screwed by this company!
