Looking for an artist who used to work there... – I personally have always had a great experience there. But i was informed, even before the new owners that took over, that the guy that did all my amazing tattoos had left. I would really love to find him, its hard for me to try new people... His name was dusty... not sure on the last name. If you know where he's gone i'd LOVE to know!!
NOT creative skin anymore – to any and all of those clients out there who may have had BAD experiences with the FORMER owner-we totally get where you're coming from. You may not be aware of the fact Tom is NO longer owner or employed by the NEW shop. We are now High Altitude Ink with 3 locations-2 in az. Tom however is opening a new shop in Glendale. We invite all of you to come visit, do a walk through of the remade areas and chill with us!! Have a great one and hope 2 see ya soon!
great place – i have been going there since november and jason has been my artist and i absolutly love the place new needles glooves and always amazing work, i'm sorry that the lady before me has had a bad experiance with tom but he's not there any more, and jason and everyone else that works there is very sanitary i promise you that, and i'm not saying tom was or wasn't but everytime i seen him he was with gloves so idk what to tell you there... but i trust them all from jessie to connie to joe to jason i've been going there and will be in the future, i give it an a+.. and the shop talk that happens isn't always bad it's not around children or anyone that would be offended, most of the time it's around familiar people but everywhere i go i find it, from hardware stores to sports bars to the grocery store even in schools... nothing new to me, but you know to each their own, so if you want to find out what kind of shop it is you have to experiance it yourself not look on a website everything is better understood when it's firsthand
Unprofessional, Dangerous, to be Avoided at All Costs! – I went to Tom to have my lip pierced - I was about 20 years old at the time, and inexperienced in the piercing/tattoo world. I TRUSTED Tom to take care of my needs and create a safe work environment. When he pierced my lip, he did NOT use gloves. I did not see him wash his hands, or use a new needle. During the entire process, he was making lewd advances towards me. VERY unprofessional.
I cleaned the piercing according to the instructions I was given at the shop and THEN some, but shortly afterward, I developed the worst infection I have EVER had. My lip swelled to 10 times its normal size, I had a fever of 103 degrees Fahrenheit, and the pain was unimaginable. When I came in to see him a few days after the first visit, he told me that it was not his fault, that it was "completely normal." I SERIOUSLY doubt that. I was in unbelievable pain, even after I basically forced him to take it out (much to his reluctance).
Now, my cousin goes to see him regularly, and I worry so much for her safety. She will not listen to me about the danger of this geriatric pervert, but hopefully some of you will! If I could sue him, by god I would have done it in a second. I have pictures on my photobucket account - just search for the user wadjethathor and look at the newest pictures in my album.
