Good German Food in Glendale. We enjoyed our visit to Haus Murphy's. We had heard that the food had declined and I must admit that it wasn't the best German food we've had however it was good and the ambience is certainly loud and fun. And my Grandmother still made the best sauerbraten in the whole world, God rest her soul.

OK. Did not enjoy the food. Good Beer selection though. Black forest cake was good.

If you want authentic german food I would recommend the "Black Forest Mill German Restaurant"

Great selection on beer (Warsteiner, Spaten etc.)

Best German Food? ----- ----- ----- NOT!!!. I'm not sure how someone from Germany would be willing to say this food was the best. I would have thought they would serve the wonderful German rye that you might find in a good German deli, but it was pumpernickel and jewish rye that you can find at the local supermarket. I expected German mustard to be served with the wursts, but it was good old American. I've never had a dry wurst, but this was a first. The piece of pork served was dry as were the potatoes. They do serve German beer but mostly dark beer. Spaten was the only light beer offered. This was a sorry excuse for German food and has inspired me to go out to a local German deli and buy my own wursts, bread and mustard. Warsteiner is my favorite beer that I can find in most grocery stores. I hope people who eat here who have never been to Germany don't get the impression that this is the best representation of German cuisine.

The best German Food in the state of Arizona!. I am originally from Germany and this food is absolutely amazing! Top it off with some great german beer, live music and you have a recipe for a fantastic evening.
