Pedro's Mexican Restaurant

Just ordered take-out...bad mistake!! Very expensive and we didn't get all that we ordered. Very disappointing. We have been eating at Pedro's for over 40 years. It would be very helpful if the staff that takes the orders spoke good English. We will take our business elsewhere!!…

One of the best for Mexican food in the Phoenix metro area. Look beyond the decor and location. Not sure what the previous reviewer is talking about as I've never had anything tasting terrible here. I know good Mexican food, I was born and raised in the Southwest, am Mexican myself so I can compare the food to my nana's cooking (the best!). And I definetely wouldn't head to Bell Road for good mexican food.

Its a small place that's been around for a long time and even when its busy, I've never waited longer than 10 minutes to be seated. All the employees have been there forever and are always friendly. They know the regulars and get to know you and what you eat. The food is fresh, still warm, never overcooked and always generous in portion size. The lunch value is a bargain which is why some might find dinner to be expensive. But really, dinner prices are comparable to any other sit down restaurant. The tacos are stuffed to the max and delicious. Their salsas are all very good and unlike most places where you only get one salsa, they actually have a total of 3 that they offer (traditional chunky, mild, hot picadillo). I'm addicted to their macho burrito (fried shredded beef burrito topped with jalapeno cream cheese). Also, for dessert their sopapillas come out nice and warm.…

~Terrible Quality! !. This small little restaurant may have been around awhile, but when they charge the same prices as 3 Margaritas, Arribas etc....they should at least use real cheese, better quality beef.. The owner should order some of the shrimp dishes at 3 Margaritas on Bell Road and taste and see

the difference!!

The shrimp tacos served here are the WORST I've ever had ANYWHERE!! They use FROZEN SALAD SHRIMP and cook the taco in TONS of grease!!! Please..and the owner is RUDE.

Wake up and stop cheating your customers the QUALITY they deserve. They just don't know any better.

Baja Fresh and Rubios have MUCH better TACOS for the same price!!…

Great Mexican Food. They have great prices for lunch as you can get a green chili burro with rice and beans for under $7 but their dinner prices are high. Their beef tacos have mouth watering flavor and are the best I have tasted. Their green chili burros and chicken burros are very good too. I also like their hot and mild chunky salsa. They have always had great employees working for them all these years. I would like to see them lower their prices for dinner, but even at high prices they are super busy on Friday and Saturday nights.…
