Service is Great. Burgers leave something to be desired

Lenny's isn't all that bad a place. Ive been to two or three in the warehouse district, normally though the one in downtown glendale. The prices aren't that bad, and generally you get alot of food for your money. You get a pretty good selection of burgers, and both hot and cold sandwiches. They also have the basic sides of fries, and onion rings, along with fried zucchini and mushrooms. The soft-drink selection is pretty standard for a burger place, and you can get a large for ~$2.50. Their shakes/malts/floats are excellent, and at $3.73 for a large, made with actual flavored ice cream and real fruit (depending on the kind of shake, of which they have ~18 kinds), which is start contrast to what you find at other burger joints, which use soft-serve with syrup.
Now, granted their burgers are great, they *do* leave a bit to be desired. They come dry, and typically have a small salad piled on top of them. They also claim their burgers are cooked medium, although most every burger ive gotten stood as counting more as a hockey puck, not medium. Their fries, while touted as being really good, do have one serious drawback. They aren't cooked at a high enough temperature. Which means that they are generally soggy and limp. Regardless of those drawbacks, Lenny's is a definite place to look up if you're looking for a burger thats not *that* bad, bigger than what you see at any other burger place, and definitely cheaper.
- Pros: Quick, cheap, and tasty
- Cons: Burgers are dry, and fries are a bit limp
Best local owned Burgers in Town !!

I've eaten hambers since i was 7 years old, I do consider myself to be a Hamburger "Expert". I am now 60 and have eaten hamburgers all over the country and the world. Lenny's Burgers are the Best ! Trust me on this one. Not only are their Burgers to Rave about, so are the French Frys, Hot Dogs and the Milk Shakes.
The self serve Soda Fountain is unlimited refills so you always have enough to finish off your meal plus a full to go cup for later on after your visit. My most favorite Lenny's is the new shop on 59th and Peoria in Glendale, on the Northeast corner. Very clean and neatly decorated ! The staff there is always friendly and greet you with a very personable smile and are eager to please. If you like your Burger or Fry's cooked a special way...all you need to do is ask. The shop is very Clean, altho it may be small there is ample enough seating and when it cools off and not 110 outside there is seating so you can eat open air.My second best Lenny's is on 35th and W. Thunderbird on the SW corner. If you've never had a Lenny's Burger do your self and your family and guests a favor and stop by....You will not be dissappointed !!
Bon Appetite !!
- Pros: Thumbs up
- Cons: none
Great service, Great prices, so so burger...

When I first read online that this place has the BEST burger in phoenix, I couldn't wait to have a day off and drive on down there. I had driven past it a few times, and I recalled some of the reviews posted by others regarding Lenny's. Recently moving to the valley from the Great State of Texas, and loving the challenge of finding a good tasting burger, I saddled up and quickly got down there. I was impressed with the service, and the resturaunt itself, had that back home feel upon entering, however, to my dismay the burgers (although good) were not up to par with all the the praises given. A family of 4 ate for about $25.00 which was great! But honestly there was nothing special about Lenny's. Maybe it was the anticipation of a down home burger that had me all ready to go? I'm not sure. I will go back, if I'm in that part of town, but I'm not traveling from far out of the West valley to go to downtown Glendale just for this burger. Great service, Great prices, so so burger
- Pros: The excellent service and price
- Cons: So so burger, traffic on Glendale
