Best dive bar in phoenix!!!. Palo verde is the best dive bar in Phoenix. It reminds me of a bar back in Detroit The old location of "Honest John's". The drinks are strong and cheep; a great jukebox; NO GRILL; and a real dive. The owner Chuck is a great host and will pour you a nice strong drink as long as you are not being a "Richard". It has real bar DANK which is a very attractive feature to a dive bar. It is a must for your last call. It has a mixed of just regular people, no "Snottsdale types here" . P.S. only buy the nuts from the machines on the north side of the bar.....the regulars will know what I mean.…
