Tempe >Aamco Transmissions
Do not go there unless you take your own mechanic with you!. I bought a savers card for AAMCO last summer. When I tried to redeem the services I pre-purchased they told me continuously that they could not fit me in. Finally they come up with an opening and I redeemed several services. This is the last time I went there, ever since I have done Jiffy Lube or changed the oil myself. I just had someone I trust look at my car because I am going cross country. AMMCO had said the belts needed replaced, this in fact was not true, but I did so anyways. AMMCO said the PSF needed to be replaced and when I left my AC was not as cool as it was when I went in. Would you like to know why the PSF needed to be replaced? This is because mysteriously ATF was placed in my PSF. The reason why my AC was not as cool??? Oh someone unplugged on the the fans to my engine. Now placing ATF in my PSF and unplugging my fan will do damage, but it will take time. The ATF ate threw my PS Hose. Luckily my engine did not die with the unplugged fan and the person I trust can fix it. Ill be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and I advise anyone else who comes across similar issues to do as well.
