Editorial Review for Buffalo Exchange – by Bevyn Rowland
In Short
The first Buffalo Exchange opened in 1974 in Tucson, Arizona, and has since become a famous-label junkie's delight. The eclectic inventory is built by loyal customers who bring in former favorites from their own closets to sell or trade. A constant turnaround of lightly worn men's and women's clothing and accessories keeps the bargain-hunting ground fertile for finds from the likes of Kate Spade, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and others.

i took so many clothes down there i made over $120.00 bucks now i go all the time i make an average of $75 bucks with every trade(several items) but im from tempe and i know what they like rock, punk and rockabilly which is what i have i have also bought so many cute things over the years there the store does have an odd smell but thats vintage for you some of the people arent very attentive but hey as long as im getting paid i can careless they ALWAYS take care of me like i said i know what they are looking for and i just so happen to have what they need they really take the time to go through your stuff and really examine each item they even make small talk with you and every item they take they tell you what they are going to sell it for somethings you can actually get them to go up on the price when you tell them where you got it like i bought alot of my vintage stuff from GO KAT GO they love that stuff so i got more also things i bought in Hollywood stores too that still had tags on it the things tempe didnt want to buy i just packed up and took to the BUFFALO EXCHANGE in phoenix and they bought them there since they go for a more outrageous obnoxious or really girly hippie look i made over $60 bucks there and they are really friendly at the phoenix store everyone speaks to you and its really small and charming there i would highly recommend them all
Pros: unique styles and interesting people to watch

The inventory changed so often that I liked to go there at least once a week. The staff was always funky and friendly. Since moving to New York two years ago, this is the one store I miss the most in Tempe. I go there everytime I'm in town.
Pros: Variety, Awesome Deals
