In Short
The first Buffalo Exchange opened in 1974 in Tucson, Arizona, and has since become a famous-label junkie's delight. The eclectic inventory is built by loyal customers who bring in former favorites from their own closets to sell or trade. A constant turnaround of lightly worn men's and women's clothing and accessories keeps the bargain-hunting ground fertile for finds from the likes of Kate Spade, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and others.

I was in the store only 15 minutes, and came out to find my truck broken into & the radio GONE. In broad daylight. When I went back into the store, they acted like, no big deal, this happens all the time.

As with most resale shops, Buffalo Exchange definitely doesn't give you even a fair percentage of what your garments are actually worth. However, this should probably be expected since they turn around and sell it back to the public for a cheap price; obviously they have to make some type of profit. I took in some of my clothes there a few days ago...all clothes that I would never wear again, although alot of them I hadn't worn at all (they still had tags on them). Alot of them were designers including Ed Hardy & Guess. Anyhoo to make a long story short, they gave me $53 cash for about $400+ worth of clothing. So basically they rip you off, but if you're just trying to get rid of your old crap, why do you care right? Whatever stuff they didn't buy, I was planning on giving to Goodwill anyway. So I guess $53 is better than nothing! Bottom line, its NOT a good way to get extra cash if u really need it. But it IS a good place to make a few extra bucks on crap you would just throw away anyway!!
