Best Authentic Mexican Food. I have been eating at this restaurant since it opened on Mill Avenue about 30 years ago. I learned from my parents and grandparents to cook mexican food from scratch - so I am very picky with the mexican food I eat. This restaurant serves authentic mexican food. Good Food, Big Problems. The food here is great, but the service is VERY slow, the waitresses look unclean, but my biggest gripe with this place is they DO NOT ALLOW SEPARATE CHECKS! They are very rude to you when you ask about it too. Makes no sense, ruins an otherwise good experience.…

It's OK.. This place is an institution, located across the street from ASU. It's an adorable, small place that feels familiar, even on your first visit. The food is reasonable, but not very interesting. I was a little disappointed with the small portions and generic flavors. Although the food is uninspiring, this place makes up for it with a great location and an intimate, homey dining room. If you go often enough, you will notice that this place has some very loyal regulars. If you're in the mood for affordable mexican at a sit down restaurant that's unique, this place should be considered.…
