Fresh, imaginative food makes up for spare surroundings.. In Short
Season Deli is a tiny shop tucked away in a downtown Tempe courtyard where there is not much more than a kitchen and a deli case. Hungry college kids and working stiffs alike line up for paper plates piled high with fresh creations. Most people create combos from the six to ten salads (made with greens, pasta or rice). Others go for the vegetarian tamales, and a surprising number of die-hard carnivores swear by the tuna and chicken salads. Wash it all down with honey-infused lemonade and consider whether healthy eating ever tasted more indulgent.

In Season Deli. I used to go to the In Season Deli several times a week in the 80's when it was still new and I was attending ASU - what great memories! I have since moved away but I REALLY miss the veggie tamales, raw fruit pie, and the myriad of other excellent food that was offered!

I hope to go back someday soon and see what new offerings there are!

Keep up the good work and if you ever offer Internet shipments - let me know!!!

Sincerely,

David C
