Scottsdale Child Care & Learning Centers

SLC review Kierland. We have been taking our son to Scottsdale Learning Center (SLC) since he was 8 months old. He is now almost 5 and in the Preschool program. We have been so pleased with his education while attending SLC. He has had a curriculum in place since he was 18 months old. At first his curriculum consisted of shapes, colors and a theme each week. For each classroom he moved into the curriculum became more comprehensive to include letters, capital and lower case, numbers, etc. We have always received praise for what our child knows / understands and attribute a large part of that to what he has learned while at SLC.

One of the best aspects about SLC is fact the staff has been very consistent throughout his enrollment, as they have the same Directors and teachers in place since we started. They have a very clean facility with nice outdoor play areas that are age appropriate.

There are only a few learning centers in the Valley that you can take your child to and pay as you go. SLC has a daily tuition rate, provided you attend a minimum amount of days per week. They also provide food and diapers. We have always traveled back to the Midwest for extensive periods of time during the holidays and the summers and while we are gone we don’t have to pay (not to mention when our child is sick we also don’t have to pay). It’s a huge benefit!

As your child gets older, SLC also offers classes that you pay additional for but they are done during the day. So we have our son in computer and dance classes, to enhance what he is learning in the classroom.
