A picturesque, award-winning desert course that's highly playable.. In Short It starts slowly, with a series of driver-short iron par-4s, before it really gets going. The signature par-5 seventh hole, a relatively short 490-yard risk-reward situation, signals the start of something more promising. A waterfall that tumbles into an idyllic lake guards the picturesque green setting. The variety is good the rest of the way, and plan to burn some calories, the 16th and 17th holes--back-to-back par-5s--stretch about 530 yards each. The putting course is one of the better 18 sets of cups in the Valley, with lots of undulations and tiers.
