Not that great..... I've been to the place once and don't plan on going back. The food was over priced for it's quality. The meat was dry and sauces were sort of bland. Cheese dip was ok and I had better desserts. Although they were friendly the service slow.

Fantastic Break the Ice place. Ever had one of those dinners where no one really has anything to say so you sit a make small talk until you go out of your mind? This is the type of place that makes it a lot less painful. It's such a unique experience that everyone has something to talk about so it's a great place for a first date or a night out with in-laws in my opinion. Anyone who you don't entirely feel comfortable with.

Celebrate at the Melting Pot!. This place is awesome! I go here at least twice a month during special occasions; birthdays, new moms, anniversaries... They always remember to ask if we are celebrating which gives me the chance to buy a keepsake for my guest. Last birthday I bought my friend one of their cute pewter frames with our picture. The cheese was soooo filling we barely had room for dessert! everything was 'picture' perfect! Thank you Melting Pot!

Most unromantic restaurant!. I reserved the special curtained table for an anniversary after hearing rave reviews, but it absolutely ruined our evening. The service was slow and for the price you get a very tiny amount of mediocre food. The worst part was having to hear people coming in and out of the bathrooms, staff and guests constantly pulling back the curtain, loud noises from the kitchen, and having to hear the obscene conversations coming from the staff while standing outside our table. After making complaints all we got was a coupon for a free dessert - that was only valid if we came back in and bought another dinner. I will never return to this restaurant and certainly don't suggest it for anyone seeking a romantic dinner.

Puuurfect evening. Lots of tables for two with couples sharing a romantic dinner together, delicious desserts, rated at only two dollar signs, but a bit pricier, I think. If you want to melt someone's heart this is the place to go, even if it is a big corporate franchise now. Reservations are usually required, so this might not be for the more spontaneous folks out there.

I am in love. My boyfriend and I went to the Melting Pot for the first time last week and I am in love. We had the most amazing dining experience. Every aspect of our meal was well executed, and the dessert was AMAZING. We did have to call ahead for a reservation even on a Tuesday. As a wine lover we found the wine list to be very extensive and included a few special find selections. We are looking forward to a return visit hen we are going to attend one of the monthly wine dinners. Go and enjoy!

The Melting Pot STINKS!. My husband and I have visited The Melting Pot several times in several states, and have always loved our experience. Unfortunately, the Hayden Road location has ruined our love for this restaurant. I have never in my life received such bad service and the food was a total dissapointment. Compared to past Melting Pot visits, the Scottsdale location has the least amount of food portions. We paid over $80 for a couples dinner and received about $30 worth of food. We waited for 45 minutes between our salad and entree. To top things off, the management was notified of how badly things were for us, and although they were willing to comp our meal--they sent us home with their apologies and a dessert that was FROZEN!! Our 1st wedding anniversary was ruined--thanks to the Melting Pot.

The Melting Pot. For the ultimate romantic dining experience this is the place to go. The food is excelent the service supreme and the ambiance is incredible. You will not regret the money spent. Be prepared to spend the time to enjoy it all and make a reservation. If you are thinking of taking kids with you make sure that they are older than 9 or 10.

Great Experience. The Melting Pot was wonderfully romantic, (closed curtains in front of the table) and the food was fabulous. Everything was great, I highly recommend this place to anyone who is in love.

A True Melting Experience!. I dont agree that the Melting Pot is all that it is cracked up to be. There is nothing romantic about $100 boiled meat! To top it off they close you up in a melting pot of your own, to sweat while you eat, not my idea of romantic.
