In Short – Booths equipped with tabletop fondue pots are clustered together inside the intimate dining room. Start with a cheese fondue, including an assortment of breads, veggies and fruits for dipping. Entrees include lobster, center-cut filet, fish, chicken and vegetarian selections served with a variety of dipping sauces. For dessert, try the flaming turtle, a mix of chocolate and caramel flambéed tableside, served with nut-covered marshmallows, fresh fruit, pound cake, brownies and cheesecake.
Best Restaurant Experience of my life!!!!
by awesomefoodishappypeople
The MeltingPot in Scottsdale Arizona is the best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to dine in. The food amazing, the concept fun and creative, and the service is unbelievable. When we arrived in the restaurant we were nicely greeted by the host stand. The hostess Blair greeted us with a smile and congratulated me on my Promotion. WOW! How did she know about it? On the way to the table the host Adam kept a wonderful funny conversation with us. We even had a congratualtions card along with a picture frame and balloons waiting on the table for us. Once at the table he said our server would be Josh and he would be right over to take care of us. Once again being congratulated on my promotion he departed the table. Moments later Josh approached the table and took us through the fondue experience. Through out this experience multiple staff members stopped by and congratulated me on my promotion. The managers Jason, Harrison, and Candice were all especially nice-all holding wonderful conversations with us. And Harrison even used his extensive wine knowledge to turn us onto a wonderful bottle of wine. With our meal coming to a close and us paying our check, we were wished a wonderful evening by all staff we passed on the way out and even was once more congratulated by Blair about my promotion. I have never had a better restaurant experience and I highly reccomend this restaurant for anyone who is celebrating a special occasion or just wants a Perfect Night Out!!!

Best Fondue Experience

I am taking my husband, as a surprise, to the Scottsdale, AZ location to celebrate Valentine's Day. This is our first time going to Scottsdale since they relocated. They are, by far, the most wonderful and romantic atmosphere in dining that we've had, to date. The food is awesome and the service is beyond impeccable. The people that work there have always been friendly and cheerful. I recommend it to others on a frequent basis. Two thumbs up!! We love you!!
- Pros: Two Thumbs Up!!
- Cons: None to speak of.
Lousy service!!!!!! It just isn't worth it. A real mix of Jethro Bodine crossed with Margaret Drysdale

Lousy service!!!!!! Ruined anniversary dinner. Be careful of possible marketing agency writers that may be giving this 4 and 5 stars and the usual BS about how great it is (had family in the biz. know how it works). Don't waste your time. "The food is not worth it" we heard as we were leaving, furious, from other patrons. (Ended up going to Roy's at Scottsdale and Indian bend- was wonderful, as usual.) It started with the all to easy, "we're running behind, it'll be just a few minutes" from the wait staff when we arrived a few minutes before our reservation. "Great", we thought, we'll get a drink, laugh for a few minutes - 60 minutes later (now 9:30 p.m.) the same 5-7 couples, all with reservations at 8:30-8:45 still standing, nowhere to sit, hearing the barely pubescent looking wait staff softly giggle out a "sorry." It lookes as though they were just standing there trying to think of themselves in people magazine. (Now really, they seemed to be a curious mix of Jethro Bodine crossed with Margaret Drysdale - remember the Clampetts) At one point my spouse was told that our table was being wiped off right now and that we would be sitting momentarily. 10-15 minutes later, I walk to the hostess, with the manager standing next to her, and asked how long it takes to wipe off a table? The manager laughed, wilted back away from the hostess, leaving her to respond. Does anyone in management there know how to train a staff to be courteous or how turn tables? (How did Seinfeld put it with the car agencies (paraphrase), "You know how to make a reservation, you just don't know how to keep a reservation.") Now, get this, as we were being seated, we saw a larger table that had had no one sitting at it the whole time we were standing there. We asked, "Has this table been open the entire time we've been here?" The muddled boy seating us said, "Oh, that's for larger parties, there's only two of you." That was it. Nothing is worth that aggravation.
- Pros: Good soda fountain
- Cons: LOUSY SERVICE
