Horrible Food Don't Waste Your $. This evening at about 5 pm I went to this restaurant located at 1312 N Scottsdale Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85257. I frequently dine at Old Country in Phoenix and used to go to the Hometown Buffet in Chandler. Upon arrival myself my husband and my son noticed immediately that all of the food that was out appeared to have been sitting for several hours. The rolls were stale the mac and cheese was hard there was no one out to cut the meats so needless to say my husband ended up having to do it. I went to get dessert only to find that although the bowl my cheesecake was in was cold the cheesecake itself was quite warm. It didn't help that the cold desserts were placed on a pan rather than being placed in ice as it customary. Upon our arrival home all of us have gotten sick. Hmmmm think it could be the hot food that was cold or the cold food that was warm? Also my husband went to get some chicken noodle soup only to find that it had the same consintency as Jell-o. Soup isn't supposed to be anything like Jell-O. We waited almost 35 minutes to get our table cleared because it appears as though your staff invited their families down for dinner and spent all their time conversing with them in Spanish. All in all I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.
