Best Steakhouse anywhere! What else needs to be said? Not cheap but worth every cent!

Simply the best. It doesn't get any better than this. Upscale bar scene is cool. Ok they could bag the cheesy disco songs and opt for standards or jazz. But no matter. Count on C note per head with drinks

YUM! Best Steak of my life. Great place!! Staff treats you like royalty. No complaints at all! It is expensive but that's standard for the classiest of restaurants.

The bathroom attendant is not needed! It's awkward. I'm already forking over $200+ for dinner, do I need to pay more for a high schooler to turn on my water and hand me a towel?

Best Steak PERIOD. First of all I have traveled all across the country and I have only found one better steakhouse (Charley's, Orlando Fl). Every trip back to Phoenix I go to Mastros and it is always the same (impeccable), which is rarely the case with most other establishments. Far better than Durants, Mortons, Ruth Chris, or Donovans.

The Ribeye is not the best steak in the joint first of all so if your a ribeye fan be warned. The bone in Fillet is great, as is the Strip and the porterhouse. The sides are always great and the atomic horseradish is worth the trip alone. The original Pinnacle Peak location is still better than the Goldwater location; the staff is not as astute at the newer location.

Worst dining experience ever. I eat at a lot of steakhouses in the valley and this was by far the WORST dinner I have ever had. I ordered the wasabi mashed potatoes and they had no flavor, the steak was tough and overcooked. When I told our server about it, nothing was done. No manager, no apology, nothing. I would much rather have a great dinner and friendly service down the street at Paul Fleming's restaurant.

Very Disappointing. My wife and I dine out frequently and eat very well at home (AJ's meats and seafood). We live five minutes from Mastro's and decided to give it a try since it is always busy. While our waiter was friendly and attentive, the food was very unimpressive. Our beefsteak tomato and mozzarella appetizer arrived in just minutes and was very cold (i.e., it was made in advance and kept in the refrigerator). YOU DON?T REFRIGERATE TOMATOS! Incredibly for a top dollar steak house, both our filet and tuna steak were overdone. To their credit, they gave us a second tuna steak and did not charge us for it. We kept the over cooked filet so as not to sound like whiners and found parts of it to be tough and grizzly. We also ordered a side of wasabi-mashed potatoes and found them to be lacking in taste ? no wasabi zing! Forget dessert ? we went down the street to ?That?s Amore? for gelato. If you want a $16 martini, mediocre food and silicone cleavage, knock yourself out at Mastro?s. Our money is going to other steak houses in the valley.

So disapointed. Host girls to busy talking to each other to greet customers, bus boys swapped left overs and my friend feed the remainder of my $38 steak to her dogs. Wrote letter to Manager Tony Brunetti, never heard a word. So very disapointed.

Beefeaters' Paradise. Great steak (I had the NY, friends had bone-in ribeye which looked even better) extensive wine list, side dishes and appetizers were very good and... terrific service.

We had a wonderful meal. We had a great meal, great service and enjoyed the ambience of a classy room with good music. We arrived early since we were hungry from travelling and didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The room filled quickly and no one seemed unhappy.

Don't go there. We went there for a birthday dinner. We had to wait 15 minutes. There were 6 hostesses milling around. We were seated in a thoroughfare, waiters and customers bumping into our chairs. Food was so so. We expected the wasabi mashed pototoes to have some zing, no such luck. They presented a slice of three layer carrot cake for the birthday girl. It looked great. Unfortunately it was at least 2 days old. On the whole, I would recommend that people go some place else for their dinner in town. Over priced and not great anything!
