Throw us a Bone Rawhide !.
Fall is a great time to get out in the valley and enjoy the beautiful weather . The family wanted to go to Doom Town at Rawhide . We planed to eat and the check out all the rides and shows . The
place was decked out with a headless horseman ,my little girl was freaked out before we even got into the park, a nice lady at the gate dressed as a witch calmed her down and told the Guy on the horse to take off she told us his name and impowered my daughter to contol the situation NO BEN NO! she told us about the shows and told us what would be good for little kids . The guy in the jail was rude it was like he just did not want to be there . That is a shame becuse we have gone to Rawhide a few times a year and it seems like it gets worse each time .The food was ok, it took forever and the waiter ,I think his name was Ty ,also did not want to be there . We looked forward to a good meal and our kids wanted to dance but I guess the lady with the band is gone .As parents of 5 kids it is great when you can go out to dinner and the kids are having fun too.
We had to pay to park but we got it back on our meal.
A complete let down !…
Only go if you have money to waste.
WAY overpriced, loud and downright intrusive. Prime rib was so-so, but horseradish should be replaced with turpentine for an improvement. Beans were awful, some were leftover from prior user of the
plate.
Band was great.…
Overpriced as possibly could be. This is a 4 star restaurant bill at a 2 star place.
I couldn't believe that the entrees were around $25 a person. Our dinner for 5 with wine was close to $200. The dining room is one huge room, it's loud, noisy and not very high class, yet the prices
they charge are for upper class fare. My ribs were not very tender or flavorful. The beans were bad, and you can't get a baked potato with your meal unless you do it a la carte, even if you decline the "cowboy beans" AND the steamed veggies (I think they were frozen Birds Eye veggies). The potato alone was 4 or 5 bucks...
The shops were nothing more than a tourist trap to separate you and your money. It was cheesy and tired... even though it's a new place. Don't waste your time. If it remains for more than a year or two, it's because they are trapping tourists and out of towners and not locals. I live within 10 miles of it, and I will NEVER go there again.…
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME or MONEY.
I was a regular at Rawhide prior to them moving. My wife was the Comptroller there for several years prior to her death. Used to be great!! Been out to the new place 3 times. Couldn't believe it
the first time and wanted to be fair since they had just moved and all.
DO NOT, repeat..DO NOT waste your time, money or gas to get there. It has the worst food I ever TRIED to eat. And a complaint about it brought absolutely no response other than the waiter took the steaks away and just brought us the check. Not even a Doggy Bag for our dog. But, maybe that was a good thing. Kind of attached to our mutt!! Wouldn't want to give her something that made us sick!!
Rawhide?? NEVER AGAIN!!…
Don't waste your time.. This was my second trip to Rawhide and it will be my last. They have moved locations since last year and everything is awful. They have a Western town that is no more than a place to take your money. The sunset dinner was a bust. They had far too many patrons the evening we went. We were to leave at 6pm. The lines were so long that we did not eat until around 9pm. The food was poor. The beans were awful. I wanted a steak but I would have had to wait another 20 minutes because they ran out. I had the ribs and they were fair. They have become way too commercial, and they are so set on making money they they have traded quality for quantinty. So sad.…
