I thought this place was the best ever! I had a complimentary upgrade to a room with a 1000sq. ft. sundeck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!! LOVE LOVE LOVED IT. the spa was really nice and the room was very cozy for my lady and I.
I hope I can make it back for my next visit to see family and rentals.
- Pros: everything was good. thanks for the corkscrew delivery to my room late night!
- Cons: pricey but you get what you pay for
Spacious rooms with nice views and hotel accommodations

My company had a business dinner held at the Camelback Inn and I decided to get a room for the night and make a spa weekend. I contacted Marriot reservations and let them know that my company was hosting a business dinner and provided them my Marriot's reward account and asked if there were any special rates based on this.
I ended up getting a girl's getaway package which included spa treatments, gift certificate for food at any restaurant, Starbuck's speciality drinks and the room. They had a resort coordinator set everything up including the spa appointments and e-mailed me the confirmations.
I thought the hotel room was nice/spacious and was nicely arranged (not too crowded). There were two separate sinks/dressing areas with lots of electrical outlets. There were two very nice bath robes and pairs of slippers in the closet in addition to umbrellas in case of rain. There was an area with a couch/chair and coffee table, desk and a little kitchen area with a separate refrigerator, microwave and couner space to prepare food/snacks/drinks. The patio area was a nice size with a chair, table and lounge chair. Each room's patio area was private (you could not see the rooms next to you) and the views and landscaping on the grounds were fabulous.
Service and food at the business dinner and the two restaurants that I ate at were excellent.
I took a fitness walk in the beautiful mountains surrounding the resort in the morning in addition to attending a great Yoga class at the fitness center.
I enjoyed the spa services and the spa setting/pool area. I would recommend this place for out of state visitors or any in state residents that just need to get away for a mini vacation.
- Pros: Beautiful resort setting, rooms are spread out (not on top of each other), spacious rooms, spa services
- Cons: Heard room service delivery carts early in the morning delivering room service
Reasonble rates for poorly maintained rooms.

Unhelpful employees and even poorer service in restaurant. Room was moldy and stank. The desk clerks were unhelpful. It is not typical of normal Marriott consistency. We will not return to theis old and worn resort.
- Pros: cheap for a JW Marriott property.
- Cons: Old and not well maintained. Dank and not welcoming...
