Founded in Beverly Hills in 1985, these eateries with the trademark yellow, black and white color scheme have spread nationwide. The decor consists of simple wood and glass with roomy black leather booths. The thin-crust pizzas come with innovative toppings from Asia, Latin America and the Southwest; signature pizzas like the Original BBQ Chicken and Jamaican Jerk Chicken compete with old standbys like pepperoni and traditional cheese. Pastas, salads, soups and sandwiches round out the menu.

I and my kids LOVE the tortilla soup at CPK. I just wish their pizza was better. Last 2 times I was there the pizza dough was quite chewy (tasted almost like it was made from frozen dough). You would think that for a place with the word Pizza in it the pizza would be great. The salads are pretty good though. Anyway if you have not tried the soup definitely get it. Quite tasty.

California Pizza kitchen is one of my favrotie places to eat! There is something for everyone. There is great pizza, salads,and pastas. The whole family can eat here and be very satisfied. The prices are a bit high but the food is great quality! PROS: great food, environment CONS: high prices

I was expecting more. Pricey. Food was OK but not great. Atmosphere (the look of the place, etc.) was very good! Service was OK. If I'm spending more for pizza my expectations are higher that's why I can't give these guys a higher rating. Disappointed.
