In Short – Reincarnated from an old movie theater adjacent to the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, the museum is a work of art itself. New River architect Will Bruder, a master at utilizing industrial materials to ingenious visual effect, has created a fitting architectural complement to the museum's growing collection. Rather than deflecting attention from the art within, Bruder's building harmonizes and accentuates, which emphasizes contemporary Arizona art, architecture and design, as well as international studio art glass.
