Whitey's Honest Car Repair In A Rip Off Town. In a Field that is known for ripping people off, I have finally found honesty, and true customer service. This place is packed with Customers, yet they always have a smile, and there work is top notch.

Today makes my third time in and I knew my brakes were, bad. Thank you Mister Gilbert, we will give you a call, and can we give you a ride home.

Two hours later I get a call and they confirmed what I already knew. Brakes are metal to metal and need new front brakes, and turn the rotors. Total will be $168.00. Yes, Thank you. Your car will be done at 2:30 just come on in. I came in the car was ready and half the price of what I paid last time at another place.

A couple of years ago my Daughter needed brakes and took her car to another place, You know there slogan " A Honest Brake" Same exact thing no new rotors $300.00 just fronts. My Son about a year ago needed front brakes, I said don't go to to Brake Masters rip off. He took it to a small shop and it looked like he was the only customer in all day. Bad Sign $350.00.

There is no doubt that when you pull up to Whitey's they are busy, every single day, and have been around forever. No advertising, all word of mouth, and I just wish I would of had that word of mouth advertising along time ago.

I love this shop.. They were recommended highly by 2 different people and I've had the same exceptional service that they've had. The staff asks relevant questions and are very responsible about letting me know what to expect. I've never been surprised by any cost overages or unrequested repairs (but they have surprised me with a few courtesy fixes). Repairs seem to be very affordable and are well done. They make it easy for me to comprehend each repair issue and options. They will only fix the problem you tell them about, so if you're looking to get your car back to 100% you may want to ask them for a full inspection and report. I once had a dealer's repair department tell me they'd done specific work on a car under warranty, but I had doubts and called Whitey's. They offered to look at it and were able to prove to me that the work hadn't been done as described and didn't charge me despite knowing there wouldn't be any revenue in it for them. The project management and prioritization seems to be well under control there. This is one auto repair shop that I have absolute confidence in and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Great Job and Fantastic Service. These guys were receptive to listening to me describe the problem I had with the car. They asked some more questions about the way it was driving and acting and were able to pinpoint the issue. The problem was the intake manifold gasket which has been a problem for the type of car I drive. They had charged me much less to fix the job than the few other places I called for quotes. One of the most competent and honest around amongst a large fireld of losers!. I have used Whitey's auto repair since 1993 when I first moved out to Scottsdale. Whitey is one of the most competent and capable auto repairmen out there! He is also compassionate, having driven me in his own car

back to my home or the closest bus stop while his shop was crawling with customers! The negative comment posted here must be an unusual example or is otherwise highly anecdotal, because poor service or service without permission is just not Whitey's way. He manages a very competent shop and I highly recommend him. By the way, I have no reason to speak up here other than I couldn't believe that only one comment was here and it was bad! Whitey's done brakes, throttle body cleaning, oxygen sensor replacement, tune ups, tires, and other work.
