A smoke free Scottsdale Institution.. Get reservations and go. Trust the wonderful wait staff with recommendations but be careful with spice level. I wouldn't go higher than medium spice unless you have an ice cream chaser. You are guaranteed a wonderful dining experience.

Harumph!. Well, I've been here before but last Sunday was a terrible experience. The wait was unbearable. The waiter forgot our drinks, if you can believe that, and the food took FOREVER! Once we got it, it was delicious, and we were satiated but then the wait for the check almost put me over the edge! The waiter compensated, which was GREATLY appreciated, so overall, it was a very mixed experience. That said, we will return.

Not authentic at all!. I was extremelly disappointed with this restaurant; especially after hearing so many rave reviews about the place. The ambience is great and I could possibly go back again, but definately for the drinks and sushi, and not the thai food.

Scottsdale meets Bangkok. I've heard much about this restaurant prior to visiting it. I've been to more than 100 Thai restaurants in the US, and so I we expecting traditional Thai decor, something to prepare my senses for the dining experience. At Malee's, however, the decor and the wait staff atire are traditional Scottsdale-ish, although the aromas are definately Thai. At first, this lead to sensory confusion, but when the food arrived, I knew exactly where I was. I like my Thai food "Authentic" (that's two notches above hot), and the curry was smooth and was not overpowered by the spiciness.

Best Thai On Town. An exciting and fabulous restaurant. The menu is first class with tons of variety, and the waiters are as knowledgeable and friendly as it gets. They will gladly point you in the right direction for your taste in food. Don't wuss out on the HOT curry scale. Go for it...the taste and flavoring will never be drowned out by the spice meter at this place. It's the best in town, AND you can show up on a Friday or Saturday night and be seated with out a reservation. And the prices are reasonable. I can't say enough about this place. ENJOY!

Magical Malee's. Walk in to Malee's and you are graciously greeted. The warm atomosphere and friendly staff only compliment your dining experience and are second to the traditional and innovative menu. When you complete your meal you will truly know the Thai dining experience. With my belly full and a smile on my face I was ready to come back to Malee's for seconds the next evening.
