Great southwestern cuisine and friendly staff.. I was in town on business and dining alone in the bar. I was craving southwestern cuisine and was delighted with my choice. I had the ahi tuna which was prepared to perfection. Very large tuna steak and the cut was very lean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they had a great wine selection. This restaurant is more rustic, which compliments the cuisine.

LOVED IT!. I was in town for the Rock n Roll Marathon and picked this place for our celebratory post-race dinner. We could not have been happier with my choice!!! The service was outstanding...our server - Leann - was helpful, articulate, professional and a real pleasure. The food was outstanding as well. Be sure to try a side order of the green chile macaroni and cheese if you meal doesn't come with it. Ambiance was great...very cozy and inviting but still casual and unpretentious.

Don't go for the service.. I decided to take my boyfriend here for his birthday. What a mistake. We were early for our reservation and were told to wait in the "saloon" area for about 20 minutes. Where we did enjoy great wine and a scrumptious appetizer. An hour and a half later we were taken to a table. After sitting down it took approx. another 23 minutes for a waiter to even acknowledge our existence. When he did decide to come to table there was no Hello-I apologize- nothing. "What would you like to eat?" was all he said. The manager did take notice and apologize after the waiter had walked away. On our way home we got better service from the circle K attendant. I don't think good food could ever make up for such lousy service.

Overrated salt lick with (bad) attitude. Burger is dried out, salty. Staff act like they are doing you a favor.

Wonderful Experience. I am from out of town and after reading some of the reviews I hesitated to go here, but decided to try it anyway. I sat outside, had a beautiful view of the sunset behind the mountains, and the food was great. The filet mignon rivaled any large famous steakhouse and the the green chile macaroni is to die for. It is a bit expensive, but worth it!

What burgers?. After reading the glowing reviews, a group of us decided we must try this place. We did not know about the fact that the burgers were only available in the bar, and were seated on the patio. When we asked about them, we were told that the only items available were "on the menu". OK, I tried the scallop salad and it was fabulous. Nothing else we ordered was up to scratch however, and the tortilla soup looked (and tasted) like a bowl of enchilada sauce. Now my friends are not only disappointed, but mad at me! The service however was excellent. Had to look hard for the "cowboy" anything. Maybe in the bar? Sigh!!

Best food in Phoenix. By far the best food in town. The new location is huge compared to the old one but the food is just as great.
