More like Ciao, Cowboy!. I ate there once and spent the next 24 hours vomiting. Coincidence? I have no desire to find out. Good luck
Big disappointment.
Our visit was spoiled by waiting for an hour and a half after ordering for our guest's meal to be delivered. Finally flagged the waiter who seemed to have forgotten about it. My companion and I had
finished eating our meals long before the waiter returned. He brought only one item saying that they were out of the scallops in the other dish that had been ordered. This was an hour and a half after the order had been placed! My friend went home hungry with no food other than the salad. They were also out of two of the wines we requested. We were brought a substitute choice by one waiter who ended up serving others and our new waiter came to the table and said there wasn't enough in the bottle the first person had brought to serve us all so we had to make another choice.
Very poor service. They just didn't seem to care about us as customers.
All in all it was a big disappointment and spoiled the evening out for dinner.…
Good food, icy 'tude. Food is good nouvelle, for the price it should be. Stetson salad was inventive and tasty. As for the service, I was reminded of an episode of "Frasier" or L'idiot from "LA Story." I'll forget the salad but will remember the pretentious attitude, rich in every gesture and grimace, reminding you what a favor you're being done. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. We tried to have a sense of humor but the good food hard to swallow. Better service, cuisine, and overall experience elsewhere.…
A whimsical menu, witty wine list and surreal setting belie the serious care that goes into creating the meals..
In Short
The young and chic, business types, and mature patrons of the area galleries gather under the star-studded ceilings of this transcontinental eatery. From its focus-of-the-room bar
to the watch-the-world-walk-by window tables, this place exudes an upbeat, creative energy. The varied menu sports a wealth of gourmet ingredients, albeit at the expense of locally grown items. At nearly every table, a Stetson chopped salad (arugula, smoked salmon, Israeli couscous, sweet corn, marinated tomatoes, "trail mix" of asiago, pepitas and black currants, pesto ranch dressing) is being tossed. Popular entrees include the signature exotic mushroom pan fry with ancho cream and elk strip loin with hazlenut pesto and mushroom risotto.
