In Short – Situated just blocks from downtown Scottsdale, this little cottage is probably most famous for its patio, spread out among old citrus trees that provide shade and blossomy perfume come spring. Flowers, green grass and a fountain add to the oasis effect, while the adjacent gazebo-bar blends icy margarita concoctions with a vast variety of premium tequilas. Try the chorizo fundido or the tequila-lime chicken tostadas for lunch, and go for the red chili-crusted pork chops for dinner.

I dont know what was worse the food or the service. i ordered the pollo margarita which the server suggested and it tasted like wood. if you want to eat food that is bland and tastless this is the place to go. the service was horrible. our server never checked on us and refused to split up our bill before we ordered there was 3 couples! what were we all supposed to have cash?! Stay away from this place unless you want to waste your money!
- Pros: nothing
I'd rather eat chalk dust . . .

. . . than eat the c-r-@-p that they pass as food at Tortilla Factory. I never write reviews on sites like this. Ever. However, this place was so awful I felt it was my civic duty to mankind to do what I can to prevent others from experiencing the most bland, flavor-less, overpriced food and horrendous service in existence. At least in existing west of the Mississippi.
Do yourself a favor and don't step foot in this place.
- Pros: The end of our meal
- Cons: Everything. Literally.
Bad Experience

My wife and I decided to try this place after the art walk last Thursday in Scottsdale. It was actually raining and cold, so the great patio was out of the question. Unfotunately, the food was much like the weather on the night we visited, cold. The tortillas were nothing to right home about. We had to wait several minutes for our drinks on a slow night. The waitress was simply a flake. My wife ordered the tortilla soup, and it was not even luke warm, but our waitress was nowhere to be found, so we asked another server to help, and by the way he was great. When the soup returned it wasn't good, but at least hot. The waitress came back and asked if this one was luke war too? We ordered an entree to split, the tacos, we opted for shrimp and chickent. I took a bit of the shrimp and it was completely cold. We sent it back and decided to leave. I flagged down the manager, and told him don't even bother with another order, we just wanted our check. The waitress said sorry, but it was not in her control, oh boy. We left, but the manager did take of the two drinks and the very mediocre soup. I still tipped $5 for some reason, but save your money and time for better food elsewhere in Scottsdale. Try Grimaldi's good pizza and great service.
