Great pub. My first time to this delightful pub was a couple of weeks ago, and I have been back four times since then. I think that it is a great bar close to my house, and the food is very good. The macaroni and cheese, and the pastys are my personal favorites so far. They also have a huge selection of beers, from around the world. If you haven't already you should check out the British Open Pub.…
A hefty beer selection plus resonably priced pub-grub with a cozy Euro vibe..
In Short
Glance through the window just to make sure people aren't driving on the opposite side of the road because this place feels like a neighborhood pub somewhere east of the Atlantic.
Exposed wooden beams and stonework combine to create an authentic ambience. British and Irish libations dominate the drink roster; the lunch and dinner menus include indispensable pub food like bangers and mash and--of course--fish and chips.…
Hardly a transplant from Britain. The atmosphere is dark, dank and pretty tacky. The floors are not clean, the smell of smoke permeates he place and patrons are permitted to smoke just outside the entrance. Wait staff is not attentive and their dress is trendy? vs fashion disaster. The fish and chips was greasy and tasteless!! Would not recommend.…
"Cheers" like atmosphere. This resembles and English Pub however the food is a step above a Pub in England as far as quality of product, quantity of product, and choices. It seems to be a friendly place with a large "regular" base. If you communicate with people you will feel right at home. I'd have to say it's Scottsdale's best kept secret. The nice thing about this place is that you don't have to play that North Scottsdale "game". I hope they make it in this highly competitive enviornment. They should!…
Some good some bad. Sometimes, I over indugle in sprits. I like the barmaids to remind me once in a while. Not just tell me to pay up and get out, with no offer of sit be quiet have some water or a soda, I'll call ya a cab or something. I felt not at home any more. I wish there was an Irish pub some where close by. The food is on the better side and as long as you fit into the crowd you considered fine and everyone is friendly. I have been in many a pub before and always treated almost as family. This seems like drink, eat and move along place…
