I have used Cathy's Rum Cakes Caterers For 26 Years! They have always exceeded my expectations. Big Or Small Cakes They have always been excited to design and make my cakes. I just picked up one of
their over-the-top cakes - the smallest 6 inch. You might see it on their website - the "Arizona" Birthday cake with the cacti!
I had to re-schedule my party - and even though it was the smallest cake - Cathy's was more than accomodating - they re-scheduled my cake and it was truly amazing - Peach Amaretto!
Beware - there are other knock-off companies that claim to make a rum cake just like Cathy's! One even mimicked their logo. They can't! Not in taste or design. They Never use fondant or buttercream - any company that says they do and they make a cake just like Cathy's is a knock-off.
This isn't Ace of Cakes or Cake Boss - this is way Superior - This is Cathy's Rum Cake Caterers - 100% cake and a whipped cream masterpiece. How Cathy can make whipped cream look like fondant is a miracle!

Cathy gives terrible customer service. Cathy should hire a good CSR! They give the impression that they only want money. They lie then back track if you catch them in the lie when quoting or telling you what they can do. Expect the only thing to matter to Cathy's rum cakes is how many people you are serving so they know how to treat you based on the bill. I used to use them all the time now I use a competitor. Same tasting cakes...yes I mean identical if not better because of more customization, better prices, and bending over backwards customer service. Cathy's Rum Cakes stop living in the past! You can still afford to be nice to people, you lost my families 4 to 6 cakes a year business forever this year.…
Cathy's Rum Cake is SENSATIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!. Last week, my husband invited his friends and wives to watch the Cardinals play the Panthers in the Playoffs. Of Course, I was the last to know, and I was really looking forward to enjoying the game and the last thing I wanted was to entertain. I called Cathy's Rum Cake and ordered a food tray from her ongoing promos. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas, Spinach Salad with Roasted Garlic and Bacon Dressing, and Of Course the Strawberry Rum Cake. Everything was great! The Chicken Enchiladas were very moist and filling, with shredded chicken, green onions and cheese - I really loved her Enchilada Sauce. The Spinach Salad was very tasty and crisp - a great compliment to the Enchiladas. Of course, the Strawberry Rum Cake was incredible- decorated in Cardinal Colors. For a few bucks extra, I had everything delivered. I recommend the food trays from Cathy's. What a great experience - I really enoyed the party and the Cards won!…
Cathy's Rum Cake Gives Really Good Service For Last Minute Orders. I felt really guilty as I forgot to get my mom her birthday cake. I went into the Phoenix the day of the party and asked if they had any cakes to sell. The nice young man told me that they have a lot of variety. When he brought the cake out it looked like I gave them a weeks notice - and all this took place in under 10 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. I felt much better.
