Fantastic Food, Odd 1st & Last Impressions. The food & wait staff were top drawer; however, the hostess wouldn't even look up from her newspaper when we left and said goodbye to her. Yeah, that promotes repeat customers.

Nasty. This place is totally not worth the wait...ever. Everything I had tasted like Bacon grease. If you like Bacon grease, then this is the place for you!

lousy manager in Scottsdale. The food is fabulous, exceptional pancakes and light fluffy omelets. Try the diced ham and cheese omelet or the (large) German Apple pancake. It is worth the wait. However the service leaves a little to be desired at the Scottsdale location. I witnessed a waitress who needed help get yelled at and run out by the manager who was busy with his cup of coffee. She had many tables come in at the same time and truly needed help. He told her that if she couldn't handle it, there's the door!. She ran out crying. Prices are a bit steep for breakfast, but it's worth it.

Best Syrup. Busy, yes...Delicious, oh yes...

Atmosphere, tucked next to the Motel 6 and the Scottsdale Fashion Square, what more could you ask for.

Try the baked apple...it is to die for

Heavenly Breakfasts. excellent - The Dutch Baby is a memorable treat. It takes 30 minutes to prepare it, but it is time well spent! The reward is a real teat

nothing original about this place. Disagree -- too expensive and pancakes are lousy. A couple slices of bacon is pricey and the pancakes have the "flavors" slopped on the top.

How about a two egg breakfast?. The food that they do serve is great; however, I think they should have a classic two egg breakfast. Now if one wants eggs, toast and hashbrowns, they have to order everything a la carte. Not only is the OJ pricey, but other classics are as well. The food is wonderful but the value is ABSOLUTELY NON-EXISTENT!

Mouthwatering, end of story. The wait is worth it. If you pointed to the wrong item it is no mistake because you will love what you get. Nakins are needed before the meal because the food is mouthwatering

The Original Pancake House. Just a resturant you have to try. Simply, the best breakfast!

Good but over-rated. I usually really enjoy the food I get here. The portions are great. $4 for a glass of OJ is a tad pricey though. The service is spotty at best. And they don't take credit cards - which can be kind of annoying. All in all, I like the food, but after several trips with rude service I switched to The Good Egg or The Eggery
