A convenient location means it's able to offer a quick way to slow down. They have developed their own treatment called "relaxology," a combination of massage, polarity work and acupressure said to put recipients into an alpha state, like meditation. The spa also offers Swedish massage, Russian sports massage, medical massage, hot rock massage and acupuncture face-lifts, among many other treatments.

I was at the Lamar a while ago and it really needs some updating. The therapist was great but the relaxation room is not warm and relaxing. A relaxation area should be relaxing...not a place that feels like a retail area.

I don't go to spas much because I cannot afford to spare the money but I decided to treat myself for once and was expecting this amazing relaxing experience. Instead I sat around upset with no communication from the staff as to how my day was planned. First when I got their noone even smiled they just put in this room to undress, put a robe on and then off to a lobby where I sat until someone came to get me. My massage was apparently scheduled first, not a good massage either. After it was over they told me to have a seat in the lobby again where I sat watching everyone else eat their lunches that were brought to them. I sat there for an hour before I decided to cancel the rest of my day and leave. Horrible, that staff did not even try to make things better. Awful place would not recommend it.

Hillary is a fantastic masseuse and Deanna is a terrific aesthetitian. The facility is amazingly inviting and relaxing. I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for the complete day spa experience.
