Good, Wholesome, Super Delicious Food. Whether visiting the restaurant for a great work-day lunch, or being treated to delivery, this place is always in high demand at work. Virtually no one ever says no to Romancing the Bean. People here will ask "who brought the lunch in?" If it's Romancing the Bean, they get right up to go get some goodies before they're all gone--which they will be in short order! And those cookies should be outlawed, but we're glad they're not! They are the absolute best. Robert really pours his heart into his offerings and it shows. More locations, more locations!!

Finally they have competition. Its the only place in Haydens Ferry to spend your money and then hear from all your co-workers and friends how the owners sit and talk trash about you, them and everyone when you leave. Thank God competition has arrived so they will be forced to shut up and step up to survive. They did the same thing at there former location. Kristen who workd theres comments are great. There not even open on the weekends.

One of the cutest most unique cafe's in town!. If you are looking for a great place to go read, study, meet a friend to catch up, breakfast, or lunch, Romancing the Bean is one of my all-time Fave's! I have been going there for years since they were located on Indian Bend and although I was sad about the location change and the hours, I go every time I have a day off and can make it during business hours.

As for the comments above about the service- it is somewhat slow, but be sure to ask for things ahead of time and you should be fine- also it is a cafe, not fine-dining, so service will naturally be more relaxed. If I am there on a time-crunch I ask for the bill ahead of time and politely let them know I will need to check out promptly.

Also a great place to sip some gooood coffee, particularly their mochas, and their baked croissiant sandwiches and salads are sooo yummy! I also recommend any of their baked goods. The news is usually on too so you can catch up on the headlines.

LOVE YOU Bean!!!

RUDE!. Prices are too high, food seems prepackaged with the exception of baked goods. The workers never know what is going on, you have to wait forever....and the blond hair owner is one of the rudest women I've encountered. They never get the order right and then the food is poor quality. Waste of time, effort and money!
