Great lunch menu.
I have been going to this place for lunch for years. The food is very good, sometimes a little on the spicy side. My only complaint is sometimes on a scale of 1 to 5 for how hot and spicy, I choose a 1 and it feels like a 5 and leaves my mouth burning. Great service, but sometimes if they are busy it takes a while to get the order brought out.

NOT SO THAI.
OKAY, I WAS DYING TO EAT THAI FOOD CLOSE TO MY WORK. TO MY DISAPPOINTMENT, I WENT TO MINT THAI EXPECTING AT LEAST GOOD THAI FOOD...NOT SO. BUT WORSE THAN THE AMERICANIZED THAI DISHES, THE SERVICE WAS SO SLOW AND UNFRIENDLY. NOTHING WORSE FOR ME THAN SLOW SERVICE...YES, IT TOOK ME 1 1/2 HOURS TO HAVE LUNCH THERE. I WILL ONLY GO THERE AGAIN FOR TAKE OUT AND IF I AM VERY DESPERATE FOR AMERICANIZED THAI DISHES.

Tasty food, uncomfortable service.
I don't think I've ever spent 2.5 hours in a Thai restaurant before. At least we ate. There was a family of four - with two kids - next to us who had had nothing, not a bite to eat, after 90 minutes. I suppose we stayed because we were already there.
The food was not worth the wait. Even if the service had been managed "normally", the food was average. The service made it quite undesirable, uncomfortable actually. Weird. I mean, if you can't handle a dinner service then perhaps you shouldn't own a restaurant. Perhaps you should just cook for your family and friends, it seems to me. I still prefer Benjarong Thai Restaurant in Mesa.
Bottom line - the food was hot and tasty when it came, but jeeze, it took a long time to come. The wait ruined the whole evening (argument with the wife about the service, missed the movie, called it a night).

Best Thai Food in AZ.
This place has really really good Thai food. I cannot get enough of their authentic Thai dishes. I love their stuffed chicken wings, Thai BBQ Chicken, all their curries, and their desserts are to die for. The have the best and most authentic Thai desserts like homemade coconut ice cream, creamy Thai custards, and fresh mango and sweet sticky rice. Everyone has got to try this place and you will keep coming back. They also recently remodeled so the place offers delicious Thai food in a wonderful environment.

Excellent Thai...
Mint Thai boasts some of the best Thai cuisine around - I've lived in the Bay Area, Orange County, Las Vegas, and AZ and can say that Mint Thai is still probably our favorite. While the ambience and service is average at best, the food - the real reason to actually go to a restaurant - is phenomenal. Absolutely THE best mussaman (brown) curry we've ever had. Another dish sure to please is the red curry chicken egg noodle - not many other thai restaurants have anything like it. I've never had a bad food experience at Mint Thai. Highly recommended.
