Each location may be different, but they all have a similar feel: clean tables and bright, open space. Moms and kids crowd tables next to business professionals who stop in for a bite. Order at the counter then watch your bagel dressed for taste success. Flavors include poppy seed, sesame, salt, onion, honey-grain, wheat-bran and everything. Mix and match with cream cheeses like honey-walnut or herb-garlic or make a sandwich with veggies, cheese, chicken and turkey.

I was born and raised in NYC, I know good bagels and this is where I shop.. I have tried all of the competition and Bruegger's comes closest to an original New York bagel, I give it an 8.5 if the bagel in NYC is a 10.
