This has been a family favourite for approximately 12 yrs. I don't mean only locals, we take EVERYONE there! Family from Europe beg to go there as soon as the plane's tires touch the tarmac! This is THE BEST italian food you can find anywhere. The atmosphere, quality of food, customer service, cleanliness etc., etc., all deserve 5 stars! Go and enjoy a delicious meal in a lovely aromatic restaurant!!
Pros: Best italian food!!
Cons: Sometimes you have to wait a long time - so get it to go!!

I grew up near New York City in an Italian family from Italy, so I think I know Italian food. I found this hole-in-the-wall by accident 6 years ago from a friend of mine. I go so often that the manager, Wendy, knows me by name and face, the staff smile when I come in and even recognize my voice when I make reservations! The Antipasto salad and the basalmic dressing are delicious, and the neverending refills area a meal in itself. I have eaten just about everything on the menu (except Eggplant Parmigiana, which my family never understood why I hated, being a true-blue Italian) and have yet to find something I don't like. Russell is my favorite waiter. He usually works Thursday through Sunday, and I leave feeling like I am royalty with the service he provides. I must warn you that the chocolate cake is addictive - and my friends and I nicknamed it 'death by chocolate' because it is THAT good. If you have never tasted Italian food the way it is supposed to be prapared, COME HERE!
